Hitch and Get Smart!!!

Hey yo yo yozzz everyone...how's the PSI level high week been for all of you???*cough cough cough*

Quite bad ain't the weather???reaching up till almost 100 already lehh...sure hope it goes down...cos its causing distress to a lot of people including yours truly.I having just recovered from my sickness last week now suddenly have a slight blocked nose and a bit of phlegm problem also.Sure hope everyone stays healthy despite the bad weather.

Haha today i suddenly feel like quotes from these two shows i have been watching or watched this past week.I guess i shall just start off with Get Smart first.Kinda nostalgic when i start thinking about the show...the premise of the show is this

Set in Washington, D.C., the show features Agent 86 (Maxwell Smart), his boss (The Chief), Smart's partner and later wife (Agent 99) and a host of other agents both good and evil. Perhaps one of the most important elements of the show is the gadgetry created to help Smart in his quest to keep the free world free. On this show, anything including the kitchen sink can be a phone, a tape recorder, a camera or weapon. Looking for an Agent? Check under your seat cushion. Want a weapon? Try your finger-gun. Need to make a phone call? Open up that bologna sandwich. The show was painted in the broadest of strokes and played every moment for its own delightful reality.
In order to give the agents of CONTROL, a series of worthy opponents, KAOS was created. Smart and 99 battled the likes of Mr. Big, The Claw, and Siegfried.

Below are some memorable quotes from the show to push forward my point of it being such a hilarious show

KAOS Agent: Look, I'm a sportsman. I'll let you choose the way you want to die.
Maxwell Smart: All right, how about old age?

Chief: Max, this will undoubtedly be the most dangerous mission you've ever gone on. You probably won't get back alive.
Maxwell Smart: If you're trying to scare me, Chief, you're wasting your time. I don't know the meaning of the word fear.
Chief: You'll parachute from six thousand feet.
Maxwell Smart: I think I just learned it.

Maxwell Smart: I'm sorry I'm late, Chief, but I was stuck in the car for almost twenty minutes.
Chief: I know, 86. The traffic.
Maxwell Smart: No, the seat belt. I can never get that darn thing unbuckled.

Agent 99: Oh Max, you're so brave. You're going to get a medal for this.
Maxwell Smart: There's something more important than medals, 99.
Agent 99: What?
Maxwell Smart: It's after six. I get overtime.

Haha the guy was a clueless guy but alwiz managed to escape any kind of danger..this was the show that i enjoyed a lot when i was young and it was on reruns and even now after watching it again i still enjoy it a lot :) Hope that all you people can manage to watch it also.

Ahh next on is Hitch..i watched it alone on tuesday at plaza singapura...haha when i went inside the cinema,it was full of couples sitting inside...i guess it was a show which couples would enjoy watching together.Quite a nice show i might say..and some good philosophies on love also...will post some quotes from the show below

Albert: You know what it's like getting up every morning? Feeling hopeless, feeling like the love of your life is waking up with the wrong man. But, at the same time hoping that she still finds happiness, even if it's never going to be with you. (i feel this also, sniff sniff)

Albert: I want to jump in front of every cab I see, because maybe then I'll stop thinking about her.

Ohh haha and Kevin James is quite comedic...he was good in King of Queens and in this show Hitch he shows some puppy dog kind of innocence with his comedic timing hahaaha.I recommend this show to all of you who have not watched it yet :)

Ohhhh and its like the bday weekend like tat...cos i have a few friends and even a cuzzie who are having their birthdays soon.Today's my friend Kenny's 25th bday hahah and he so lucky, got his gf to celebrate with him :) have fun man pal!!!!

Prissy's bday is on the 28th...boy too bad its on a Monday..so i guess she would have to celebrate on Sunday???happy birthday to you worrr cuzzie!!!:) kor hopes u can have fun

And Linda's birthday is also coming very soon liaoz on the 30th..Happy birthday to her also worr..hha good luck to all of us for the exams at the same time since our exams very near that period of time.

I was reading about news online and i stumbled upon this article in todayonline...

Newly promoted in the Public Service Division (PSD), Miss Phua is one of the 50 administrative officers who excelled.
.
"I meet people I would not normally meet in the course of work. I hang out with oddballs and the underbelly of society," she said in jest.
.
The 27-year-old, an Overseas Merit Scholar, says her offbeat friends offer her fresh insights into her job as the 4 assistant director for Malaysia at Directorate 1 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Notice the usage of UNDERBELLY OF SOCIETY in her description of the people she meets outside....that means those who are not civil servants are lowly classed people??and its no wonder our country's neighbours feel that we Singaporeans are Kiasu,Kiasee and Hao Lian..this lady is working in the MFA somemore...It makes me shudder to think that such people, self professed elites who would be the pillar of our society...and its to these people our own PM Mr Lee give the future away to also in his recent speech...i just hope he understands that not necessarily does a official for the people need to be an elite, what he or she truly needs is the heart for the people and not for money and standing in society.

Its GOod Friday today..better dun talk about so much Ungood things...hope everyone enjoys their day leh..most prob i be at home reading and stuff i guess....do take good care...signing off for now.

Long time no sick :(

Heyheyheyzz everyone...how did the weekend go???It was a normal weekend for me and i just stayed at home...haha so nothing much to talk about there.

But it was still quite a fulfilling weekend for me though, cos i managed to catch up on my reading of Gu Long's books.Man i din read his Xiao Li Fei Dao series before as it was quite difficult to borrow them from the library, but i managed to find the e-books online and was quite a good read.Haha for those who haven't read b4,i recommend to all of you,cos its quite a good blend of romance, mystery and heartwarming stuff.Hard to imagine all that from a martial arts novel eh??

Ohh and wonder why my title is Long time no sick??Cos i suddenly felt sick yesterday evening.Whew must be i ate too much heaty stuff already.Had this side splitting headache and felt hot hot...plus eyes felt fiery also. But i got sweat so luckily it
wasn't high fever.Yesterday night's sleep was so tough and i rolled around in bed so much, cos either switch on fan or aircon also uncomfortable as i got the shivers no matter what.Hahaha and i had no appetite since yesterday night so i din manage to eat until this afternoon.Whew if i did that longer i guess i would slim down liaoz hahaha...but what a way to slim down sia.Definitely not a recommendation from me at all.

The news today was quite scary...imagine during a demonstration against Japan in South Korea, one lady used a pair of scissors to snip off one of her fingers!!!!And all that becos they were protesting against the ownership of a group of small islands by Japan.I guess there are a lot of disputes over the ownership of a lot of islands.Imagine the ownership of Diao Yu Tai between Japan,China and i think Taiwan.Even the island dispute between Singapore and Malaysia.I guess its because it defines how wide the country can expand,as in this time and day, land is very scarce.

Saw Julez for the first time on Police and Thief and haha he was wearing what he usually wears...onli for the moustache that made him look different.Hmm would he every grow a moustache in the future??

Ohhh and i saw this nice looking huskie(spelt like this?) at the coffeeshop on Sunday..nice??

Haha too bad no marnee or else i sure would wanna rear a Huskie...looks so much like a wolfie.

Hehe gonna post what i received in my email...sounds strange what people can say eh?

+----- Bizarre Last Words of Men About to Be Executed -----+

As George Appel was being strapped into the electric chair,
he said to the witnesses, "Well, folks, you'll soon see a
baked Appel."

Before Thomas Grasso was given his lethal injection, he
complained, "I did not get my SpaghettiOs, I got spaghetti.
I want the press to know this."

Sir Walter Raleigh said, "So the heart be right, it is no
matter which way the head lieth." And then he was beheaded.

On his way to the chair, James French said to a newspaper
reporter," I have a terrific headline for you in the morning:
'French Fries.'"

Francis Crowley remarked "You sons of bitches. Give my love
to Mother." Then he was electrocuted.

Just before being hanged, Neville Heath's last request was
for a whiskey. "In the circumstances," he added, "you might
make that a double."

Said Johnny Frank Garrett before being lethally injected:
"I'd like to thank my family for loving me and taking care of
me. And the rest of the world can kiss my ass."

Erskine Childers called out to the firing squad, "Take a
step forward, lads. It will be easier that way."

Jimmy Glass said, "I'd rather be fishing." Then he was
electrocuted.

As British serial killer Dr. William Palmer stood on the
gallows, he asked the officials, "Are you sure this thing is
safe?"

Wang Pai Tian Shi!!!

Heyhozz everybody :) How's the weekend shaping up for you all???haha i decided to blog again today, surprised???

The sky was so cloudy that it seemed to want to rain...in the end it never rained at all up till now but it was quite windy, and that's quite a good thing to me...at least its not hot hot hot.

Talking about the weather, the first thing i saw when i switched on my tv was that there was a cold current rushing through Taiwan and one 12 yr old gal froze to death!!!Gosh...its so cold over there now??And not just that...there were consecutive tremors which were at the maximum of 5.1 or something like that on the Richter Scale...a few people who were interviewed were scared out of their wits because some of them were survivors of the 921 taiwan earthquake a few years back.Sure makes us Singaporeans be thankful that such natural calamities do not happen to us...let us all say a prayer for those who got injured in this incident.

Someone was asking me why i didn't blog about the Patty Hou and Jay Zhou romance(yesh that someone is you Gemmie) hahaha well i think i am gonna blog about that cos its so hugely publicized now.Let's see...both of them had a supposed partner before they got together.Patty was with Lien Sheng Wen,son of KMT Chairman Lien Chan...while Jay was rumoured to be with Jolin Tsai.Patty and Jay had appeared on stage together a few months ago to perform for some kind of fundraiser and that seemed to be when the relationship started to sizzle. In fact, there was one song at Jay's latest Uncomparable Concert which seemed to hint at the break between Jay and Jolin. The song was Dao Dai and ironicly the song was written by Jay for Jolin to sing before...and now its on the top 20 charts on Yes 93.3!!!Patty,Jay and Jolin have been hounded by the paparazzi a lot during this period..but i guess no news is bad news and esp since Patty is releasing a new book and perhaps an album,Jay's movie Initial D will be coming out and Jolin just released an English language book.So perhaps all the news would be good publicity for all of them :)

Whew...sorry i was blabbing on man..haha and somemore the above is condensed version already.I am currently watching this show called Wang Pai Tian Shi on Starhub Cable Vision channel 56.It stars Lin You Wei,Wu Meng Da,Guang Liang and also An Yi Xuan...its about an angel who comes down from heaven to help save people...haha typically an Ou Xiang Ju larrr..but i like this kind of shows :) a bit of humour sprinkled with a bit of human interest stories...Moulin Rouge is showing at the same time on Channel 5.Amazingly,even though Moulin Rouge was such a hit back then,i didn't get a chance to watch it.The costumes and the singing are really very good,i ain't amazed that it garnered so many Academy Awards :)

I went to the Career Fair today and seriously hahaha it seemed more like an education fair to me...din manage to see YC or Julian at there but there were lots of other people haaha..saw Kavin from the full time class who was there to help distribute flyers. The place was sure packed with people...haha and i kind of like applied at the Power 98 booth..well worth a try anyway :) Anyway after that i was at Orchard and when i was on the way back home,i went to the bus stop at Heeren cos i wanted to take Express 518 home..whew the wait was almost an hr!!!!supposedly there was a traffic jam along the way.Haha but guess what???I saw Abigail Chay at the bus stop..well she doesn't look as ugly as on the tv lar...at least she looks normal :) of cos i couldn';t take a pic of her as it would be too discourteous :) But i did take a pic of something else....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Haha as i boarded the bus number 518 and as the bus passed by the Istana then i realised that the marching contingent was actually the COG(Change of Guard) at the Istana :)

Okey Dokes...haha guess i shall stop here for now...once again...do vote at my poll to see whether more people want a casino in Singapore or not :) Do take care everyone.

Joshy

P.S. haha i had to add this...do you guys see the picture there at the front of the row there is one guy without a beret??the beret flew to the back due to the strong wind...go see clearly and see if u all can spot it :)

Heyhozz everyone

How's the week proceeding???everything very well i hope???i know that a lot of people are still falling sick even though it did finally rain during the past weekend..hope that the sickness will go away very soon for all of us who is feeling sick.

Gosh its so fast and the semester is gonna end soon...i can't believe its gonna be the end of lessons for our 2 modules this semester...and that means exams gonna come soon.haha and i still haven't started on my assignments even though my classmates most prob shld be gonna finish up on theirs already.Well well procrastinating little twit i am and i guess i shall have to go and push myself to do it soon.

Oh when you're down, you're feeling low
Got nobody by your side
It can be lonely and you want to only
Find a place, no need to hide
Just lay back you'll fit right in
You can make it all come true
’Cause there’s always hope inside
And hope will see you through

ALOHA ... you'll find the place where you belong

Where you feel at home
Everybody sing!

Now you can see, tookie bawaba
Nothing but these clear blue skies
Love it has found you, and when it surrounds you
It’s just like paradise
Now the door has swung wide open
Now your heart has taken wing
Feel that magic in the air
Oh hear your spirit sing

ALOHA ... you'll find the place where you belong

Where you feel at home
Everybody sing!

Mannn i love cute songs...and this is such a warm one :) if anyone finds hold of the cd or what do tell me okie????

I was feeling quite disturbed in the beginning over the week due to one news..the one of the premature baby being thrown down the rubbish chute by the mother. This case of infanticide shouldn't have happened at all...and i wouldn't advocate abortion also..should at least let the baby be born and something should have been sorted out...now not only the baby's life is lost, the mother's seemingly bright future would now be tarnished also.Another thing i read was that the baby's grandparents didn't even go and collect the baby's corpse for burial or cremation...what the heck was that???the guy's side and the gal's side both want nothing to do with the poor baby???Do they think that the baby is a freak???Sighh hope the BB rests in peace..

Enough of that morbid stuff i guess...the paparazzi have really been quite busy in picking up juicy stuff. It seems that Yi ZHou Kan of Taiwan reportedly published 3 pictures of Edison Chan which were taken from the net and one was supposedly showing his private parts. It was disclosed by the tabloid magazine also that Edison Chan was a cybersex master and he used the nick Kakarott(DBZ's Sun Wu Kong).Well this kind of news sure tarnish his reputation...or rather add on to the playboy repuration that he has earned.

Ohh Li Nan Xing and Yang Li Bing have seemingly filed for divorce..quite a few couples from their era have split up already..Huang Yi Liang and Lin Mei Jiao being the forerunners of the celebrity splits. But on the brighter side, quite a few other celebrity couples have stayed together.Haha sorry today i very gou zai dui...just needed some gossip to lighten up the mood.

So how is the new skin looking??Parasite Eve is a nice game in the mould of Resident Evil and the monsters are very cool too.Haha guess i might change skin yet again soon though..just watch out for it.

My friend Kenny is gonna graduate from UWA already..haha he is going to get his fang mao zi this weekend...Congrats to him mann :) Wonder if i have any chance to get that hat on my head also hahaha.

Ohhhhh so does anyone feel that the casino should be built in Singapore??I guess i will go and put up a poll and see what people's views are :)

I shld stop here for now then...seeya everyone and do take care of your health.
