Jay Zhou!!!!!!

Heyhozz everyone :) Surprised to see me post again so soon after a few days???Welllll here i am!!!

How has the few days been for all??Hmm for most of my friends who are still studying should have finished their exams by now...aww but my own exams are yet to be finished...this coming Friday marks the start of 4 days of examinations...wish allllll of my Thames classmates goood luck for the exams :) Of cos the good luck also includes me hahahah.


As everyone can see from the title of the post today,Jay Zhou is the topic of the day hahaha.Lemme see yesterday was Saturday and was the big day of the Jay Zhou concert...after waiting quite a while,it has finally come to the day when i will finally get to watch the concert already.

Morningz as usual i was helping my dad and den went back home at 11+ den prepared ready liaoz i went off to Kbox to sing first...well i sang from 12 to 2 and den continued on from 2 to 5.55....haha in case everyone feels that i must have been crazy,the 2 to 5.55 one i sang with 2 other friends,Ryan and Kris.I went to Kbox cos i wanted to see the mtvs of Jay ZHou again and so that when i hear his songs at the concert i can imagine in my head the MTVs again :) sadly though,:( i couldn't find 3 songs of HUang Zhan,either his compositions or those that he sang.I could only manage to find 2 songs i think,one sang by Roman Tam and another sang by Ye Li Yi,the theme song from THE BUND.I must go and find out what other songs there are then next time go and sing again,cos it was my promise to dedicate the songs to him and it is what i really wanna do for such a talent like him.
The Huang Zhan songs aside,i sang a few other songs such as WO YAO FEI by F.I.R(boy i love their songs),Miniskirt by WON FU haha its such a cute song...Mini Mini Mi-Mini Mini~~~~and also ER WO ZHI DAO(AND I KNOW) by Mayday...it was a really nice MTV also.

After the ktv session,the 3 of us proceeded over to Kallang,went to Kallang Leisurepark cos my friends were wanting to go over there to eat but in the end to our surprise,the whole building was deserted and the entrances all locked up!!!!Aww seems that the construction of the Circle Line hath turned the area surrounding the Kallang Stadium and Kallang Leisurepark into a ghost town...and it was freaking exhausting and dangerous to have to walk in such big circles(notice the irony?walking in circles because of the circle line)We had stopped at the Macdonald's at Kallang in the end and walking towards the Indoor Stadium after the meal was really very difficult cos a lot of cars were driving very fast and there were no pedestrian friendly pathways for us to walk on...sighhhh at least we managed to reach the Indoor Stadium in time.

WhEn we reached the Indoor Stadium...the ghost town suddenly became a bustling city hahaha...the whole place was full of people and especially ladies lor..well of cos i guess since Jay had quite a huge female following.Its been quite a while since i watched something at the Indoor Stadium...haha come to think of it,I have watched every different kind of genre of things at the Indoor Stadium already..ranging from FUTSAL(sports) to Yanni(new age music) to WWE(sports entertainment) and then now Jay Zhou(music).The queue to get in was very long as i guess all of the people came at almost the same time...when all of us got in,wow the scene was spectacular as i think the stadium was almost fully filled up except for a few empty seats.

The concert was supposed to start at 8pm but then it started around 8+ due to the people trickling in and Jay's technical people were still fine tuning the props and stage itself.Haha the crowd was suddenly screaming at one point cos they thought that Jay had come out already...there was a one whole stretch of black cloth covered walkway linked between the changing room and the stage itself mah and so i think someone must have had spotted jay...in the end it was nothing as he had not come out...haha but then suddenly the lights all went out and the band starting playing music from YI FU ZHI MING!!!!!den suddenly the curtains which surrounded the centre stage dropped down amidst some pyrotechnics and lo and behold!!!Jay was standin in from of a cross on a platform in midair :) haha he always has this kind of entrance.

The surrounding very electrifying because a lot of people had bought lightsticks and the sight of the different colored lightsticks was a very pleasing one :) I myself had one lightstick because Kris brought along a few,and so i was one of the people who was waving the lightstick(and it was tiring if i might say so myself hahaha) and the screaming was intense lor...really teaches u never ever bully a Jay ZHou fan hahaha.There was one small niggling thing during the concert lor..there was this BIGGGG sized guy(well he isn't a freak lar but at least 1.8+ and he was sitting 2 rows down of me,and he SUDDENLY STOOD UP and started waving the lightsticks he was holding,guess what he blocked my and a few other people's view totally!!!the two people who sat behind him directly ran off to elsewhere and i din see them again for the remainder of the concert...it was considerate of them not to stand up and i am grateful to them for it cos otherwise my view would be blocked even more.Luckily the big dude was warned and he sat down for the remainder of the concert cept in the end..well i can't complain much as everyone is a paying customer and they are entitled to stand up i guess??

The music and dance was quite good lor..Jay had a good mixture of songs from his previous album Ye Hui Mei and from his current one Qi Li Xiang..too bad there wasn't WAI PO though but i am grateful enough cos there were a lot of songs and i sang along also haahha gosh i sound like a crazy sch kid eh???But cos i like his songs mah so no choice.:) i am sure other people would behave this way when they hear something they like.jay's guest stars were NAN QUAN MA MA and Landy Wen...NAN QUAN MA MA seem quite talented and i liked the part where one memeber Yu Hao played the piano with jay ZHou and boy they had very good fingerwork on the piano siaa..that was a real treat.:) Yu Hao even played the piece AN JING for jay to sing...man if only my fingers weren't that stiff,i would have wanted to learn how to play the piano also.Landy was her usual vivacious self and it was a shame i did not get to hear her sing WU DING with Jay.

there were a lot of calls for JIE LUN!!!JIE LUN!!!JIE LUN!!!and i think he came out again for at least 3 times for encores...really worth my money cept that the view could have been better...but the music i really enjoyed as so i do hope i get a chance to see him perform 'live' again.

Haha guess i shld stop my crazy ranting for now...good Sunday to everyone :) mebbe write again soon.

Glooomey weather!!!

Hey hey heyzzz everyone...how has everyone been???Haha sorry for the MIA for the past week..din manage to have a lot of inspiration so din manage to write much.

Let's see...i shld start from last Saturday i guess...as usual i went over to school at Tanjong Pagar on Saturday.But before that,i ate for the first time(mebbe i ate b4 when i was young i also not sure) at Maxwell Hawker Centre....lotsa variety of food but in the end i managed to decide upon eating Hainanese Curry RIce..haha i luv curry rice and so it was kind of the perfect lunch for me that day.

After the lunchie with my friends,i just walked along the way to school and gosh on my way to school..in front of me were two muscularly built men whose hands were just that wee bit close from being held together hhaaha...and well they behaved quite u noe...intimately hahaha so i think shld be the 3 letter word????And so i decided to walk faster as i did not want to encroach on their privacy,btw the stretch of road was filled with a lot of bridal salons hahaha and the 2 guys were eyeing the gowns(perhaps my mistake again cos mebbe they are artists?) Imagine my surprise when further up the road after i had accelerated,along came a guy who wore a some kind of v-neck shirt haha and he had SAGGY BOOBS!!!!Haha i say saggy boobs cos they really look like it lorr..somemore he is not fat and those are not fatty tissue!!!!

When i finally reached school i walked past the 2nd classroom after the customer service place and lo and behold, Heidi and Liz were in the classroom.Turns out Liz chose the nearest classroom to the lecturers office since it was empty...in the end only got one more person which is Doris who made the number of students for the day 3...haha that was how our last radio journalism lesson ended lorr.

After the lesson i did not go straight home though,i was gonna meet my parents at 6+ and so i decided juz go and buy stuff first.I accompanied Heidi to city hall to buy her food first since i was already outside..haha i very bad cos i keep harping about Marks and Spencer's confectionery and in the end Heidi did buy some...oh and WINNIE THE POOH hoo hoo hoo hoo had some kind of performance at the atrium at Raffles Shopping Centre.I like Tigger cuz he's so tiggggerific...haha i also like Piglet though cos i think i behave like him...very gu mor(gui mao or turtle hair,dun ask me why this kind of phrase but it means very undecided)

Guess what was my next step????Since Heidi was going to esplanade cos she had work,i walked with her to the place where there were lots of dancing kiddos and now also got a lot of stunt bicycles..and then i went off to the other direction to Suntec City....where it was Operation Buy Royce Choc time!!!!!I went over to Royce and this time i decided upon buying the bitter one..more on the eating of the chocs later.took express 518 home and upon reaching home,whole family went direct to Tampines Mall cos it was time to buy my blazer..haha i managed to get discount voucher for G2000 from my cousin(thanks to him) and since i had to wear a suit for my cousin Daniel's wedding on 19th dec,might as well get it from G2000...boy it was the first time i ever tried on a suit lor...and it looks so funny one me..haha guess what i look like??I look like a funeral procession band player lor hahhahaha.Ohh and that brings me to another topic...will touch upon it laterzz.

Think that's the end of the day???haha Nopez!!!!after buying the clothes,we went off to Marina South Long Beach Restaurant cos eating with my 4th Uncle....could see my cuzzies Reggie and Prissy too!!!!It was really providence lor cos in the end can share my Royce chocs with them...i had promised to buy for Prissy mah some time back when i described how heavenly the taste is....whew in the end the dinner got 4 plates of crabs cooked in different styles...i onli ate the mantou which i dipped into the chilli crab gravy....hmmm yum yum yum.Oh and i also ate the raw lobster..quite nice actually it was.The end thingy was the Royce chocs which i passed around...haha wahhh really a dessert lorr...next time i sure wanna try more of other flavors.

The rest of the week nothing much happened but like i said i wanted to touch up on other topics hor??Haha one topic is on the person whom a lot of people say i resemble...i do say that its a honor to look like him haha but i look so bian tai ah?;) below is his pic

There's a sad thing also today lor..i switched on my goggle box juz now and saw the news,Mr Huang Zhan, a very well known composer and musician,passed away i think last night.For those who do not really know him,he was the composer for many a TVB serial and he also wrote the song Cang Hai Yi Sheng Xiao for the movie Swordsman.Sighh he was only 64 and he could still at least compose and perform for 10 more years,but now he has left this world.May he rest in peace in heaven together with his good friends Roman Tam,Leslie Cheung and Anita Mui.

Ohhhhh haha i almost forgot to say WELCOME BACK KENNY!!!Haha Kenny is my secondary sch classmate and he just got back from PERTH :)

Selamat Hari Raya~~~~

Heyhozz everyone!!!And a Selamat Hari Raya to all my muslim friends out there.Whew i can just smell the aroma of the nice nice food coming out of the houses of the muslim families...haha its true because i got walk past quite a few liaoz and the nice smell of rendang and curry just whetted my appetite hahahaha.

I just got up from helping my dad and i am recovering from my flu+cough+sore throat(which i will just refer to as IT from now on haha as i alwiz seem to kena)
Haha but it was also because of my own fault tbat i contracted IT again.Cos friday i went to blk 85 at bedok to eat..hahaha and lemme see...i ate chicken chop,oyster omelette,ngor hiang,meatball soup haha and also BBQ STINGRAY!!!!Ohh and haha in the afternoon i also ate overnight stale fries,which i guess also aggravated the condition of my throat too.

In the end on Saturday i kinda lost my voice and during radio journa class i had to write,sign and talk in a raspy voice to ask questions hahahaha.Now that was sure uncomfortable for me as i am very talkative in class one :)

lemme see...what things have happened thru the long long weekend????Oh yeshhh...Huang Na's mum and her stepdad have received quite a big amount of PEK KIM(money collected for the family of the deceased)...judging from what i have read,it might even had amounted up to half a million Sing dollars...whew that's sure a big sum of money lor..and the thing is supposedly the step dad promised to donate half of the Pek Kim to charity and he hasn't done so at all!!!been reading a lot about conspiracy theories of how Huang Na actually died lorr.most of the conspiracy theories have actually been pointed at Huang Na's mother.I tend to believe its quite possible that she had something to do with Huang Na's death.Well enough of that now i guess..onli waiting for the trial to finish and see what Took's sentence will be.

The semester has really gone on very fast and ending liaozz....exams coming soon in Dec....3rd,5th,7th and 8th..haha first time take 3 papers in the morning lorr..dunno how it will be like.wish me luck pple.

Although today is a public holiday but i guess most likely staying at home liaoz lorr..haha *yawn* also dunno what to do mahh.Guess i might do a bit of my assignment,chat in msn,surf for news and blah blah blah haha usual stuff that i do.

Still haven't gotten any new clothes to wear for my cuzzie's wedding on X'mas eve..haha first time that a person from my generation one getting married lor so its kinda fun i guess??I heard from my cuzzie Prissy that she saw the wedding gown for my cousin-in-law and it was really very nice..haha will let myself be surprised when i see it for myself then.

Ohh and i went to the Cheesecake Cafe at Siglap on Saturday and i managed to eat a slice of CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE!!!!!YUM YUM!!!Haha and so i decided to put up a poll to ask people what flavour of cheesecake that they liked.Haha the first poll was mine already.

Harroezz everyone :) Haha din have any inspiration to start typing and there was a lot of procrastinating going on inside my mind that resulted in a new post only after so many days.

How has everyone been???The weather has been so unreasonably hot the whole week..with only a bit of rainfall for a while...sure very easy for people to fall sick.Haha but for those who work in offices still ok lar cos got aircon mah.

So fast and its gonna be the end of school term soon..which also means that exams are coming!!!A lot of my friends are having their exams now though..those in university or poly...best of luck to them for sure.

Lemme see..whew so in the end Prez Bushie won the election and re-entered the White House.Let's just hope that he does not stir up anymore shit to cause negative repercussions through out the world.Coincidentally,i read somewhere that 2008 might be year of Clinton again due to Bushie getting re-elected.Haha Hillary Clinton that is...cos if John Kerry had won,Hillary Clinton would most probably have no chance in hell at all to stand for election in 2008.

Sighh...Huang Na's body was found last week and her body has been cremated already.May she rest in peace...there are still quite a lot of missing children out there..sure hope they can be found and not suffer the same fate as Huang Na.
Took's parents are quite poor thing also lor..have to come to SG for the first time to see Took and its in court...they also kena a lot of backlash from the public,sure hope the public understands that THEY did not do anything wrong and pls dun do negative things to them.

Last Friday i was out since afternoon haha.Afternoon went to Bugis there and ate at the hawker centre.Its been aeons since i last ate at the hawker centre there...my dad used to sell durians at the road opposite the hawker centre.Haha there was even this one armed uncle named One Armed Knife,Du Bi Dao, who sold durians and his name was his brand name.After eating at the hawker centre,it was a trip to the Kwan Yin Thong Hood Cho Temple juz a short walk away.Was praying there mah..and boy haha all races go there to pray and get divinity lots also.I think i saw a few miss tiffanys(ah guas) at there to pray also...mebbe its to pray for well being after their surgery...cos who noes,sometimes bodily organs might react strangely to huge hormonal upheavals.
Hung around Bugis for a while and was even at SIm Lim...den came the finale for the day..haha a dinner at Pariss International Seafood Buffet Restaurant...whew haha as usual i din exactly eat the more expensive stuff....i had to eat satay!!!!the dessert was the more rewarding food i guess??got choc brownie and choc mousse cake and choc ice cream!!!hahaah tummy big big.

fast forward to Saturday and haha it was Sue's bday chalet!!!luckily got Melly's nice friend Im who came over to fetch me...or else i sure would have had to take a bus to Costa Sand at ECP and i definitely get lost one hahaa.was good to see Sue and TK :) Tk was very friendly and wow he signed on with the Navy..best of luck to him siaa.The atmosphere at the chalet was quite secondary sch-ish haha i felt quite old old lor..somemore that day i still had my moustache on.Got two pesky kids who kept on throwing a frisbee at our direction..hit me on the leg two times but whoaaa it missed Melly's face by just that bit...quite dangerous mann.

Sunday was quite monotonous also haha cept that night time went for a buffet again..this time at a neighbourhood coffeeshop where the buffet was styled after that of the stalls at Marina South...haha i had to eat a lot of prawns that night...haha must slap the hands of those who got so much of prawns.

Time really flies and its already Wednesday already..whew...i caught this TVB serial which starred Gallen Lo as a good villager and Kathy Chow as a maid whose whole family passed away on tv and its not the first time i watched it but i still felt anger when i saw the baddie and cried when see sad scenes.Haha i guess i am quite a wuss when it comes to seeing such shows?Hmm i guess i sure would wanna write a script on such a theme??but i guess i dun have that much of creativity to do so...

Tomorrow is Deepavali already!!!!!Happy Deepavali to our Indian brethren :) Not forgetting the Muslim community also and Selamat Hari Raya to alllll!!!

I am starting to count down to the Jay concert on the 27th also liaoz...a few more weeks till that happens...but its so unnervingly close to my exams...haha just hope it manages to calm me down.

Oh yah hahah and i still haven't gotten started on my radio journa assignment yet...Liz is so gonna kill me hahaha..but i will get started soon i guess...i have some kind of idea in my boring head already :)
