Farewell, Agent 86

Hihozzz everyone...how is the day going for you people??

Welll the title is because Don Adams, the actor who played Agent 86 Maxwell Smart in Get Smart and who was also actually the voice of Inspector Gadget in the cartoon series, has just passed away at the age of 82.May he rest in peace and boy i sure wouldn't forget him at all.His portrayal of the bumbling yet lovable secret agent was one of my favourites on TV when i was young,it sure brought a lot of laughter to my life :) That was one of the earliest parody type shows that i had watched and haha i still laugh when i think about the scenes from the show.

Today is Wednesday already and wow September is coming to an end soon...dunno how October will be like :) Good weather and no natural disasters i hope.

I was watching Kang Xi Lai Le and saw Zhang Dong Liang on the show...and the hosts were commenting on the fact that Zhang Dong Liang resembles a Korean star Kim Jae Won...haha and yeahh the resemblance is really there lehhhhh.Haha i am getting so fat now that i think i resemble some fat old dude from a martial arts movie. You know the type of character that says a lot of stupid stuff and then gets his ass kicked by the movie lead?Hahahaha i feel i look like that kind of character right now.

Talking about Don Adams just now made me remember another show about secret agents that made me laugh so much...haha and its a chinese show...Wo Ai Ye Lai Xiang starring no less than stars such as Lin Zi Xiang,Lin Qing Xia and Teddy Robin. That show really cracked me up so much..haha i mean with a phrase such as "Wo Shi Nu Ren"(which means i am a woman) used as a codeword between secret agents to identify themselves was funny..haha funny because it was said out by guys haahahhahahaah.I sure miss the days of such shows...yeahhh nostalgic again ain't I?

Haha no one voted at the poll at my site??in the end only i voted for kitty cats haha :)

Shall write again..take care people

What a disaster!!

Heyhozz everyone

How are all of you?well haha dun be misled by the title cos its not my disaster but something i just wanted to post that i saw from the Taiwanese news.Recently there was a serious and immoral act of abuse of authority that happened in Taiwan. Why is it so serious that i have got to write about it?It is because it led to a death..yes you didn't see me type wrongly..this led to a death.

The thing roughly began like this...the matter happened in a navy unit btw...a lieutenant at this unit purposely planned duties for a guy and him in a way that they both would not be free on the same day..this was done so that the lieutenant could go and ask the gf of the guy out on the pretext of maybe something concerning the guy in the unit. What happened was that this idiotic abuser of authority then proceeded to push the girl to her death!!!!!!Damn..as if what he had done by asking her out while fixing her bf to duties wasn't bad enough..he had the temerity to KILL her...what the heck!!!And he did not even have the guts and morality to offer his last respects to her when her funeral was in session. My condolences to the family and the bf of the girl..there is nothing that can be done to punish the lieutenant enough because the girl is already dead..sighh things like this happen everywhere even in Singapore.

Is it me or are there more and more cases of crimes being reported despite Singapore's reputation of a draconian state?Things such as shoplifting, vandalism and even murder are increasing...ohhh i did not check the official records with SPF so i may be wrong but this ain't no newspaper article so i do not have to be too accurate. From what i feel a lot of these crimes are really caused by a high level of stress...true if one keeps a lot of control on someone, bad stuff can be prevented, but then when the threshold of control is breached..then no matter how much of control would not stop things from happening. Its like every small thing is being made a big matter of and handled very badly.Does banning and fining people stop certain things? Its like certain freedoms should be respected because freedom is what makes people do things in moderation ironically. This was somewhat said by a famous political activist from Taiwan,Li Ao(who is currently in China for a series of talks and visits)He quoted the small example of Denmark..hmm haha or was it Norway...i do remember it was a Scandinavian country. He said that the particular country had a very high rate of rapes in the past, but after the legalization of pornography, the percentage dipped at least 30%.Hahaha i do not only say this for pornography but for all things....but not stuff such as drugs lar..i am democratic up to a point where things that are beneficial for the state should be allowed.

Hmm up till now does my post sound seditious?I am definitely not trying to be so because I love Singapore and whatever i say,its all for the good of the nation...i sure do not want our country to become a nation of sycophants and individuals bereft of any individualism*shudders*

And yet i do not have the balls or guts to participate in political activism...if i were alone in this life with no family already i would definitely go for it because there is nothing to stop me..but after all it is my parents who have provided me with my education and i cannot do anything that is deemed encroaching on the OB markers else my parents' efforts would be in vain. Therefore haha the yellow weakling that i am shall continue to support democracy in my own way :) and that is to discuss stuff in my blog here while adhering to the OB markers as best as i can..i sure wouldn't want to be thrown into the slammer do i?

I just hope the less fortunate people in Singapore would have more avenues to get help from and the future would not look too bleak for Singaporeans..cos right now it seems quite bleak indeed considering the salaries for jobs being quite not in tandem with the economy.

I sure am ranting today ain't I?*makes a funny face* haha does Ivan Rantung rant?Haha sorry Mr Rantung...being silly now ain't I?haha i should be escorted to the hougang chalet liaoz a lot of you must think?

Hurricane Rita is now approaching Texas and Houston..let us all pray in our own ways that there would not be a lot of destruction and death this time...because no matter what we are all fellow humans and should care for one another.I was reading about a post in a forum that Bushy deserved Rita approaching Texas because of what he did in Iraq and it was divine justice from *slot in the name of your god*.No matter what he did,if anything were to happen it should only happen to him then...but then again i do not hope any deaths happen to anyone..not even to Bushy.

Shall stop being a madman now :) Do have a nice weekend everyone and take good care.

Feeling nostalgic

Hiyazz everyone...its a rainy day...well it was just now and its still quite cooling now :)

Did you all enjoy your Saturday??Whew i sure feel nostalgic today...cos yesterday i was talking to my friend about old shows and i suddenly talked about Ducktales and stuff too...so i decided to look for the theme songs for those cartoons and shows from my childhood.Hahaha and quite a lot of them can be found at the following website
80s' Cartoons
I highly recommend going to this website for its images and even short clips of some cartoons of the 80s...haha i found myself humming along to the songs i found on that website..so much so that i kept humming the chorus from this following song

Theme tune lyrics

Life is like a hurricane here in Duck-burg
Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes it's a, duck-blur!
Might solve a mystery, or rewrite hist'ry!

DuckTales!
(a - whooh ooh)
Every day they're out there making DuckTales!
(a - whooh ooh)
Tales of daring do bad and goodluck tales!

D - D - D - Danger!
(Watch behind you!)
There's a stranger
(out to find you!)
What to do?
Just grab on to some DuckTales!!
(a - whooh ooh)
Everyday they're out there making DuckTales
(a-whooh ooh)
Tales of daring do bad and good luck tales!
(a-whooh ooh)
Not pony tales or cotton tales, no DuckTales!
(a - whooh ooh)

Hahahhaa yeapzz....its the Ducktales theme song..i sure love it a lot....and ohh i posted some sound clips which are closer to me at my multiply website
My Multiply Site

Ohh i also went to find a clip from this show called Rainbow...it is a children's show during my childhood which i quite enjoyed watching...its something like a British Sesame Street with dancing, singing, hand puppets haha and even a person in a suit but this one is a big bear named Bundle haha....Zippy is one hand puppet that looks like a hamburger and everytime his mouth kena zipped up haha plus George...who actually seems to be a cross-dressing hippo hahaha. The clip is funny cos i think that the script was unintentionally scripted to contain LOTS of sexual innuendos hahaha. The clip and the script can be found at below
Rainbow Clip and script
Haha watch and be tickled ;) I know i was...gotta thank my friend Meixian who actually posted it on her blog first :)

Do i sound like an old geezer??Actually yeah i do feel like an old geezer sometimes, but haha can't help it...its like my natural instincts to react like one.

Ohhh yahhh and Happy Midautumn Festival to all of you...its a full moon tonight and i am sure the night sky should be nice to look at...though there was a scary incident that happened last night in Taiwan(yes Taiwan again haha i watch their news more often) 12 bikers were riding around and slashing people indiscriminately...for example they rode to a petrok kiosk and slashed 2 people...then continued on to a place where some teenagers were happily enjoying the night sky and bbqing and the teenagers got slashed and hit with bats. Was it the moon that caused it?Or was there a hidden agenda??No matter what i sure hope the victims will be able to recover...some of the injuries were very jialat...just imagine...injuries such as a skull which was sunken in and an arm which was slashed till it might become disabled.

Does anyone believe in the full moon theory that during a full moon,an individual's behaviour would become erratic and in some cases cause a 180 degree turn in character...scary isn't it?For me im guessing its something to do with the moon's gravitational effect on the earth...well a bit incredulous but since humans contain quite a lot of H20 inside their bodies,i am thinking that there is some kind of high tide, low tide effect going on inside our bodies during the full moon that causes strange behaviour.

moooooncakes...so has everyone tried at least one mooncake already??I have not eaten any yet...hmm i hope to go find a snowskin one or an ice cream one to eat..haha cos i personally dislike the mooncakes with yolks...yucky yearghhh...cos i dun like salted eggs.

Guess i shall stop here for now....so how does everyone think of my blog layout?I figured it was time to revert back to basics haha at least for now :) Have a nice day everyone...do take care yeah??

September 11 just passed by

Hiyozz everyone..how's the day???Its gloomy outside right now but haha this kind of weather is best to rest in.

The song i am repeating right now is Huang Ru Ge Shi..its the theme song of Ge Shi Zui Xiong and sang by Patrick Tang...its quite a nice song..haha hence why i am repeating it over and over right now.The show is quite a nice serial also...one of the main storyline of the serial is that the main character manages to interact with his dad thru a old model handphone..weird thing is that his dad is living in 1970s while he is in 20 odd years later. Both are cops and they hereby solve crimes using this method...for example like the dad can go find the criminal when he was still around 20 years ago that kinda thing..haha sounds complicated??Its the last episode tonight and i am definitely gonna watch it for sure.yesh that's me the tv addict.

September 11th has passed us by again....besides being the anniversary of the terrible attack on the Twin Towers..it's also the birthday of my pal Nigel...a shout out to ya man!!

Terrorist attacks are always very terrible...yeh i realised its a lame sentence from me eh?Saw in the papers that 2 dudes got caught for racist posts in their blogs?so it must be whistleblowers by their friends that they got caught?I guess racism really has no place in society that's why they are caught so fast...i just hope that other than being heavily punished..they should be re-educated also...its the education i feel that is lacking that contributes a lot to racism, materialism and other purported vices that we all are having nowadays. There's a lot of hooha about Western values seeping into Singapore and corrupting everyone's Asian values. In the first place...every society has its ills and has its positives so not all asian is good and not all western is bad..however that doesn't seem to be what is portrayed to us,the people. This is where i feel more politically correct information should be given to the people.

Wassup with chopped up bodies?Yet another one now and its a maid murdering another maid.Yet another sign of stress causing undue stress on the people???

here's a pic of a cute baby i took to get rid of that scary feeling in this posting.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
the baby was peacefully fast asleep and looked so cute that i just had to take a pic of him...haha or issit her?

Last week there was this bit of news on the Taiwanese channel and i was nearly saddened by it.There was a case of a taiwanese army regular who passed away and his fiance wanted to get his spermatoza and get artificially inseminated so that she can bear him a child. At first the Ministry of Health refused her the operation because they said that it was stated in the law that it was illegal and that it was immoral and against medical ethics to do that.I personally feel that the law is meant to protect people and not to discriminate people...sometimes the law can be bended in this kind of instance..what do you people feel??In the end the approval was only given around 48 hours after the man passed away..according to the doctor...the optimal time to get the spermatoza and for them to be more fertile was within 48 hours of the man's death.Oh and i thought that after the approval was given it was ok already...i was wrong..because the spermatoza can only be kept for a maximum of 3 months and the fiance cannot do anything with the spermatoza at the moment because there is a law preventing her from doing so also.Sighh sure hope things goes well for her.

Well i shall stop here for now...seeyaz all soon

Howay Lads!!!

Heyhozz everyone :)

Sorry for not writing for a few weeks...nothing much on my mind to churn out hence the lack of updates..but here i am again :)

How's everyone's health??Going on fine i hope??I just recovered from a bout of tonsilitis last week...it was quite a while since i contracted fever and i really do hope i won't get down with fever again soon as it was a damn bad experience, everything from the headache to the chills i get when i get even some small wind from the fan.

Oh yeahhh i was at Bedok for some grub a few days ago and i saw this sign...couldn't help but take a pic of it

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Haha goes to show that people do have a sense of humor in Singapore...quite tough to see GOOD grafitti in Singapore because of the laws and such but yeah i guess its hard for a balance to be struck also due to the fact that some idiotic people might just desecrate instead of innovate.A lot of stuff i see vandalised outside already.

Ohhhhh and did anyone notice the title?haha its just some kind of greeting from Britain i guess..and usually its what Newcastle United fans say also.

Listening now to James Blunt's Tears and Rain...yeapz i am still stuck on his Back To Bedlam album...mebbe i shld be looking out for new and good albums eh?But for now i am just contented with this album.

Gosh i had only heard of A Clockwork Orange's weirdness and shocking scenes as i did not watch the show before but yesterday night i was surfing through the net and i decided to read the detailed synopsis of the movie and I WAS SHOCKED!!!
here's the link for the synopsis for those of you who haven't watched it before also.
Filmsite - A Clockwork Orange Synopsis

Stanley Kubrick was indeed a great director..his movies provided a good social commentary and reflection on the deeds of humankind.May he be happy whichever plane of existence he is in right now :)

Hahaha and YC's baby girl Shu Wen aka peanut has come to the world for a few weeks already :) Congrats to her and sure hope Xian aka Legolas would be able to cope with all the excitement and turn out to be a good older sis :) And peanut was also born at Mt Alvernia..man strange to say but i really do feel close to that hospital even though i was only there for the month when i was born.

I am trying to clear my throat so that i can sing...actually am trying to sing already but am quite croaky still...haha i talk as if i am going for a competition eh??Tonight's the Project Superstar final and best of luck to both Kelly and Kelvin..they both deserved their spots in the final and may they enjoy themselves no matter what the result would be..a good spot of competition would be beneficial for them if they wanna stay on in the entertainment circuit or circus as i would say.

Okayzz i shall stop here for now...seeyaz everyone :) Shall write soon

Ciaoz
