What a weekend~~~

Heyhozzzz ho ho ho everyone :)

How did the weekend turn out??Wow i have realised thru friendster that a lot of my friends have bday in July and August more than any of the earlier months of the year..haaha wah seh...so many people indeed.

Saturday was such a rainy day and Sunday was such a sunny day...indeed very contrasting types of weather. Its so easy to fall sick in this kind of weather..sure hope everyone is taking good care of themselves.

Whew...yesterday i went to watch 12 Girls' Band live at Indoor Stadium..haha wow....that makes it a record number of times I have been to the Indoor Stadium to watch concerts already..this year alone I have been there 3 times already.I hadn't heard much of 12 Girls' Band before but at this concert some of the songs were very nice....such as Freedom...Flower of the World(i think is this title, which coincidentally is Nicholas Cheung's Only One) plus Cong Kai Shi Dao Xian Zai haha these 3 songs i liked the best. And WAHHHH haha Prissy and I were continuously laughing whenever this lady playing the Yang Qin came into view on the big projection screen...because she looked EXACTLY like the Lady Jung from Dae Jang Gum(and whom i heard from Reggie and Prissy was actually a transvestite!!!!!)Amazing fact indeed hahahah, you could see on my face that i was stunned lorrr.

Today amazingly,i went to watch BUG ME NOT at Sun Plaza...mainly because only have 2 other cinemas showing this show.Haha must have people laughing at me for watching the show already becos this show is quite dumb eh??Well the show turned out to be quite cutesy...haha i like animated characters and dumb is me what lol so suits me just fine.

Knee actually still hurts...whew last week's badminton injury still around...its amazing i can walk along so much without collapsing or something like that.

Hmm starting to see beggars come into view at even Tampines more and more....usually it was restricted to places such as Chinatown and the older areas...whew sure makes me worried about a lot of the poorer old folks..do they have a roof over their heads?

Do i sound strange??haha mebbe cos i am sleepy??But i just had to blog :) will write more next time..that's what i alwiz say eh??Have fun people :) sleep well

funny incident :)

Zao annnnn!!!!Annyong Haseyo!!!! Hahah just couldn't help finding the Korean phrase for good morning and use it :)

How's everyone this morning??I decided to come in and post because there was a funny incident haha in the morning at the stall. Its like this, i was at the front of the stall packing carrot cake while my dad was sitting down eating..haha den all of a sudden(my back was facing the outside) i heard some gibberish coming towards me..things happened fast, my dad suddenly ran to the back of the stall and continued to de-shell his prawns,so i turned around and lo and behold i saw where the gibberish was emanating from ---- It was a dude talking on the fone using Aussie English!!!Hahaha and it was strongly accented one somemore. He's a Chinese it turns out who was born in OZ but came back to Singapore for the first time in 16 years and he was so happy to see carrot cake...talked a bit about the hot Sg weather and hmm he sounded so metrosexual if you get what i mean??Hahahaha he ordered 3 dollars but he gave 4 dollars and told us to keep the change...lol issit the tipping culture in Australia??

In the end i asked my dad why he ran to the back...haha he was scared off by the dude cos he said he din understand what he was saying..didn't sound like English to him hahahhah.

I finally managed to find the Dae Jung Gum opening theme and i saved it to my handphone also :) Hahahaa but still i ain't a fanatic yet am I?

Ohhh yeahhh and i managed to see Guo Mei Mei's picture in yesterday's Shin Min Daily....Look at it below

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Haha she does look more tanned than last time and doesn't wear specs anymore liaozzz :) wahh and i din even noe she took part in the Quan Min Ou Xiang Xin Deng Chang.Good luck to her then :)

And wow!!!!Haha my sis is gonna go to California,USA!!!She deserves a good vacation after so much work i guess...and she managed to borrow a digicam from our aunt, haha must tell her to take more pics.

I still have not gone to the new library yet...has anybody i know gone there yet???Gardens in a library....wow....must be quite a picturesque place to read eh??Must go there one of these days and absorb the atmosphere.

and i shall end with an excerpt from a humour mail i subscribe to

FBI agents conducted a raid of a psychiatric hospital in San
Diego that was under investigation for medical insurance fraud.
After hours of reviewing thousands of medical records, the
dozens of agents had worked up quite an appetite.

The agent in charge of the investigation called a nearby pizza
parlor with delivery service to order a quick dinner for his
colleagues. The following telephone conversation took place
and was recorded by the FBI because they were taping all
conversations at the hospital.

Agent: Hello. I'd like to order 19 large pizzas and 3 cases of
soda.

Pizza Man: And where would you like them delivered?

Agent: We're over at the psychiatric hospital.

Pizza Man: The psychiatric hospital?

Agent: That's right. I'm an FBI agent.

Pizza Man: You're an FBI agent?

Agent: That's correct. Just about everybody here is.

Pizza Man: And you're at the psychiatric hospital?

Agent: That's correct. And make sure you don't go through the
front doors. We have them locked. You'll have to go around to
the back service entrance to deliver the pizzas.

Pizza Man: And you say you're all FBI agents?

Agent: That's right. How soon can you have them here?

Pizza Man: Everyone at the psychiatric hospital is an FBI agent?

Agent: That's right. We've been here all day and we're starving.

Pizza Man: How are you going to pay for all of this?

Agent: We've collected a pool of cash.

Pizza Man: And you're all FBI agents?

Agent: Yes.

Pizza Man: With guns?

Agent: That's right. Now, can you remember to bring the pizzas
and sodas to the service entrance in the rear? We have the front
doors locked.

Pizza Man: No fuckin' way.

Haha pls ignore the vulgarities if it offends you,i did not edit so as to maintain the original essence of the thing. :)

Okaizz will write again...

Julian on Heartlanders

Heyhozzz everyone :)

Haha i just had to blog.....just saw Julian on Heartlanders..lol i wouldn't have known if Melly din tell me lorr haha..and wow quite a lot of words to speak lol...wonder if he was paid by the amount of words he spoke??

I am a total Da Chang Jin convert liaoz lohh...i try to watch the show at 7pm or when i can't catch it, the repeat the next day.Its gonna be a long long wait till tomorrow..haha yeah i noe i am being dramatic here.

Ohh and a side note...it seems that the side story in Heartlanders about the guy who was given 88 rules is a true story...at this moment i dunno how much it is to the REAL story...because the actual thing is that the boy and his girlfriend were both 'special'..yes they were a bit mentally challenged and they were used as a headline by TNP quite a few years back.At first when i saw the news i thought wahhh the girlfriend is so demanding and the guy is so stupid?Cos the guy never gets to go into his girlfriend's home and instead just sits down at outside at the corridor of her home to talk to her, then he would take a bus home.and the rules are something on the line of XXX shall not talk to other girls without the permission of YYY,XXX shall not touch this or that without the permission of YYY...Sighh and they were given negative news...its still something i feel bad about...just had to let it out.

Have fun people...just wanted to blog :) Seeyaz

Mundane life...or is it?

Greetings Earthlings.....hahahhaa how's everyone??I went to read up on Scientology at Wikipedia and also managed to read up upon one of the stinker movies of the decade....Battlefield Earth....did ANYONE at all go to watch this El Stinko??Haha i know that Johnnie Travolta who's a devout Scientologist kena a lot of slack for this movie.Lucky for him that he had other shows to bring him out of the slump :) Religion...its the driving force for a lot of people that i know of,not just relatives(who are devout Christians and Catholics),but also friends who dedicate to God...or in the instance of Polytheistic religions to their Gods.

Now why did i suddenly talk about religion then??I am just so sick and tired of the terrorist attacks and also of those people who use religion in a bad way.Firstly, it hurts people directly because no matter how they attack, the extremist terrorists would physically hurt people,be it thru bombing, sniper killing people or by poisoning people.Secondly, they cause people's lives to be disrupted in a big way with the security being so tight and giving people no breathing space...and you know what sucks??All the added security doesn't mean a SHIT at all!!!I may seem idiotic when i say that, but i say that becos the terrorists(if there are any at all) would be planning to be matyrs and wun care if they are caught or not,so if a person just decides to carry out a suicide bombing, what use is ADDED SECURITY???Its not only a waste of resources but also a waste of manpower. My poor friend Kalai is now so busy because its a big stretching of manpower in the SPF right now.Like i said in previous posts, correct re-education is very important because its the illiterate people who are being blindly led by their religious teachers(and when i say this its pointing to ALL religions or sects which have terrorist or extremist tendencies).Sighh i know its just all talk from me,but i just need to let it out because i know i would only bore my friends when i talk to them about this and :) its not good to bore one's friends isn't it?hahaha although i do bore my friends on a lot of occasions still.

In my opinion, religion plays 2 parts in life of an individual, the cultural part and the strength to live on part. For me the form of Taoism i practice now is more of ancestral worship plus cultural rites that i adhere to, and i strongly support that because if no one continues it,it would become a lost thing to the future generations. The other part that religion plays is in being the pillar of an individual's life. Many a time have i seen friends who when they feel lost, they will pray to the Lord or their gods for some kind of deliverance of peace, and that's what i feel is the effect of religions.Gosh haha i sound like an atheist don't I?I believe in peace among ALL religions because all men and women are brothers and sisters, this i quote from Ms Theresa Hsu, who turned 108 already...wahh and she is doing so much to help still *applauds her* she deserves the respect she is shown :)

Currently i am listening to Jay's songs from his Incomparable Concert...quite good to listen when i blog..kind of gives me ideas...now the song playing is Ai Qing Xuan Yai(Cliff of Love??)

Yesterday on Sunday i went to sing at Kbox with my pri sch mate Xiuhua, her bf Wenfu and Xiuhua's classmate.Haha after which we went to play badminton at Tampines West Community Club.Oh haha and i finally managed to sing Susan Says and Ai Wo Hai Shi Ta,both by David Tao,i failed miserably lol my voice cannot make it.Wahhh and hahahah i suffered injury to my knee cos i think i stupidly dived to hit the shuttlecock and went kablam onto my knee..3 freaking times somemore...hahaha its now orh che and my joint is quite jialat now..walking with a slight limp.Who told me to dive like a goalkeeper when playing badminton hahhaha :) that's me lar..no sports reaction at all.

Movies movies movies!!!Liz recommended me to watch Crash and i think i might watch it some way or another haha..but 3..no.4....no 5....no 6..ahhahah too many shows i wanna watch already lar..Seven Swords,Bug Me Not,Charlie and the Choc Factory and Valiant just to name a few..haha i am a film maniac.....or i am just a maniac- :)

Okaizz...shall sign off for now.Thank you all for reading my ramblings and rants.:) have a nice day

Energy concerto~~~

Halllloz friendssss :) how is the Sunday shaping out to be??

Haha this time after a kind soul, yangmui, had nicely pointed out that i always dun have my title at the top of my postings...i went to do some editing on my template....haha but i still can't get it correct...lousy me.

I went to the Energy concert at indoor stadium yesterday with my cousin Regina and haha actually another cousin Priscilla plus Regina's friend Amanda were also at the concert.I was there because got one aunty very nicely gave me two free tix to the concert so might as well don't waste the tix, therefore i decided to go :) lol concert what...take in the atmosphere lorrr...especially after the last 2 concerts i went to at Indoor Stadium...haha feel nice.

When i reached the stadium it was like wahhhhh so many ladies and little girls lol....and so little guys.Haha good thing was that the queue for the toilet for the guys was non existent whereas the ladies one was like whew...lining up to buy 4D like that ahh.

Seriously though i think the female fans really very wu sim...a lot of them made placards with the names of the band members...and some even made those boards with flashing lights...wahhh even if they paid for it,it shows the sincerity...kudos to them hahaha.

You can see how power the fans are...those who die hard ones really stood whenever Energy was performing and the cylume sticks never stopped waving also....haha before i came to the concert..i really didn't hear most of their songs, only some songs such as Fang Shou(the first ever song of theirs i sang at KTV),hey You and Tui Mo Lu that i was more familiar with....other than that..i think i just concentrated on their dancing. And gotta commend them on their dancing...quite ENERGY filled and slick hahahaa. You gotta be there to hear how the gals screamed their lungs out...it was quite a high atmosphere...haha Prissy and Amanda also shouted and sang along i think...whereas Regina and I just sat down and enjoyed the performance.Gotta say a few things abt the individual members..

Ady - quite a good singer although he din manage to dance a lot due to his injuries...he had one segment where he sang Hong Dou and a Jacky Cheung song(quite alike Jacky Cheung if i might say so myself) Good vocals and can reach quite a high pitch...i think even if he can't dance,he might still be able to continue singing or composing.

Milk - DANCE...haha that is what i can say about him..his solo segment was dancing mah and at the end he stripped off his top and the whole stadium(well the female fans at least) SCREAMEDDDDD.haha but his tummy like got fats one hahahaha.

SHu Wei - his segment was playing the piano while singing a song he composed....hahaha n he zao sia at the first note WAHAHAHAHAHHA..very cute lar..the fans still shouted jia you to him...Prissy also wrote this in her bloggie lol :) But lyrics were quite good still.

Kunda - haha Prissy and Amanda's fave i think???He sang the theme song from Nan Ding Ge Er which he starred in....quite a good song in fact :) haha he garnered a lot of screams from the fans also.

All in all quite ok for me cos i am not a fan mahhh..but the fans must have felt sad cos they wun noe whether Energy would come back for any more concerts or not....hope for the best for them lorrr.

Weather now is quite cloudy and dreamy looking...but doesn't seem like its going to rain...well either way it would be good for me also :)

Gosh...sprained ankle a bit...dunno how sia...haha now i at times will limp...any remedies anyone??????

Do i sound like Sumiko Tan now??mebbe i shld call myself Sunkist Ng??hahahaa

Should stop here for now before i become like Fred Green.

Initial T??!!!

Da Jia Hao!!!How's everyone??:) Surprised to see me post again so fast??

Cos got news to talk about mahhh so post again fast fast..haha keep things inside my head i also feel uncomfortable.First up is the title...why is it Initial T??It should suppose to be Initial D right??Wrong!!!haah there really is an Initial T film...i just saw it on the news at Zhongtian this morning. Its supposed to be some kind of parody of sorts to Initial D..haha and the father this time is acted by Li Li Chi(hehe he is a famous director and i am sure alot of people must have seen him cameo or act in a lot of shows before...one famous spot was in Guo Chan Ling Ling Qi,a Stephen Chow 007 spoof where he was a prisoner going to be executed...he used his kungfu to fly up into the air but he was blasted by a bazooka....hahahahahaha) I tried to look up the show online and saw the synopsis for the show...wahahahahaha...you all also try to check up and see...or better i provide the link lol....this is from someone's blog i think.

Xiao Chuan Blog about Initial T

read and laugh as i did...dang...gotta try and find and see the movie...haha btw the links on the website i provided din seem to work...you all can try and see if it works now.Ohh and i finally found out the name of the song i was looking for from the Initial D movie...haha its named Tanning In Your Sunray...its the english song from the part when Jay drove Anne Suzuki back home from the beach...very soothing...i recommend that to everyone :)

Haha and i am now listening to the two theme songs of Initial D...trying to learn them...the Piao Yi i got has the cantonese dialogue and so that makes it quite nice..haha and i am sure a lot of people(gals) would love to hear EDISON's voice hor??hahaaha..there's his voice inside the song also mah.

Hmmm i talked about the London blast in the previous post hor??ANd now a terrorist group has come out and claimed credit for it.Dang those people...how long would it take them to realise that when would any God want them to create violence and cause death??No sentient being would want that to happen lorr. They have not only caused physical and mental damage to the people, but internationally economy and politics are affected on a large scale.Just take our own nation....so many places gonna be stepping up their patrol and stuff. But in my own opinion..its not the patrolling that stops bombing...even if you step up patrol, this sort of thing would still happen.I know i am being pedantic when i say this but the correct form of education is important for the fanatics...you throw violence at them they will only retaliate in some...gosh i sound like some modern day hippy...but i really do hope all this travesty would stop...its causing grief to so much people...may everybody's God(s) shower blessings upon this world...i am starting to sound agnostic also eh??My wish is for peace on earth....haha now i sound like Miss COng

Ohh did i mention that i managed to catch part of Punch Drunk Love??haha it's such a quirky movie and boy does Adam Sandler's character have a bunch of sick sisters...no wonder he snaps in the show.Haha i din continue to watch it as it was kinda depressing...guess i might have to watch it in some other form next time...i really do like his shows although he seems to be acting the same in every show haha...neurotic...morose and down to earth..but its those qualities that endear him to me i guess.Talking about movies....i added Charlie,Wonka and OOmpa to my friendster list as my idols lol...and i guess that means the movie is coming out soon.A lot of people should be going to watch it right??A combination of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton is always good for a watch i guess....i wonder if they would make Charlie and The Great Glass Elevator or not...from what i read in the forums it seems that Tim Burton wouldn't want to direct it...figures that only time will tell...haha watch out for dancing Oompa lOompas and weird candies :)

Ahhh i shall stop here for now :) Seeyaz everyone..and especially have a great weekend ahhh.

Congrats to London!!!!!! But also condolences to London :(

Hihizzz everyone

How's the day been??whew its been such a normal day for me...plain plain juz like me.

Notice the title of the bloggie today???Yesh!!!Congratulations to London for getting the bid for the Olympics..lol i noe my cuzzie has been supporting Paris for the bid but too bad for them ahh..cos i know they were quite good also..haha in fact actually if London did not succeed in the bid i would have hoped for Paris to do so...therefore in the end i turn out quite happy over it.There was one thing though..i know Singapore is the host city for the CONFERENCE....but its not one of the candidates for the host city of Olympics..so there shouldn't have been so much fanfare over the whole thing. Its good if you bring publicity to the candidates, but hogging the limelight with such an expensive video to introduce Singapore??Well i don't think that the video was lousy,on the contrary it tried to bring out whatever it could squeeze about Singapore..haha which i have to admit, isn't a lot, especially after a lot of the good scenic locations have been torn down or been commercialized too much by good ole Papa(first 3 letters) psst psst u dunno who might be seeing.....gosh i might get sued for defamation??I just hope that all that money was well spent and our nation's tourism starts to pick up...and in turn improve our economy for a change.

The condolences part in the title was for the AWFUL and i mean AWFUL explosion that happened at the London underground...sheesh and it had to happen just after such a joyous occasion for the Londoners.Let's hope that no one comes out dead from this incident....sure reminds me of the Madrid blasts...terrorism all over again??I still remember when i was doing NS and guard duty increased all of a sudden because of the 9-11 affair....many dudes doing NS would be having lots of duties i am sure...good luck to them cos its sure sianz to kena this kind of duty.I know i might sound very unpatriotic but our nation's conscripts are after all conscripts and not willing people....

Saw on Zhongtian that a Taiwanese actress,Wang Jing Ying, who married into a rich family, had been hit by her supposedly charming and gentlemanly husband. The incident happened at a cafe when her husband suddenly stormed into the cafe and ranted at her.after which he splashed water from some cups at her...twice that happened. After the 2nd time,he took a bottle and smashed it,exposing the sharp edges...and he pretended to go lie face down at the bar counter....suddenly he turned over to his wifey's side and forced her head onto the table she was sitting next to.And then i think he smashed something on her forehead, resultant in her having to get stitches.whew so this tells us one thing...domestic violence is scary...and not just the hubby hitting wifey kind...the wifey hoot hubby kind also have okie?and all of this cannot be seen on the surface...brings us to think about the possibility of stress being a strong factor in this.

Another thing linked to this...maids who snap....woah...there have been so many cases reported in our papers of so many maids who became retaliatory...must be the stress and ill treatment also eh?Its also due to the fact that they get paid lowly and dun get too much rest...but then not all maids are treated so badly...a lot of them are being treated as family...its just that we only get to hear about the bad cases and not the good ones...cos good maids wouldn't be of any newsworthiness unless there's a sponsor holding an event such as outstanding maid of the Year.

Talking about journalism...i do think i would make for a lousy journalist...even though i am taking mass communications now...i do suck at writing don't I?haha partly also due to the fact that the only nose i have for sniffing out news is sniffing out lame things...and spewing them out lol :) Well i guess i would have to take time to develop a style of writing so to speak.Scooby Doo 2 is on now at HBO..dunno whether i would go watch it or stay online..haha but there would be Punch Drunk Love later which i think i should go and watch since this is one Adam Sandler show i have not watched yet.

Haha i think that's enough for the day..will stop for now..s.e.e.y.a people :)

Youth Peace Festival!!!

Heyhozzz everyone :) how's the day going on???It was so hot and humid just now...but as i am starting on this post, the rain started to fall...at least the poor plants manage to get water :)

I went to SSA's Youth Peace Concert just now and boy what a blast it was.The main thing about the show was to kick off the Racial Harmony Month and it talked about cohesiveness amongst every single race.It used the different colors of the rainbow to explain how no single color(race) makes the rainbow and its thru unity that strength is being found.Hahaha wah liew i sound so strange..i ain't that patriotic but I just love the part about peace and harmony :)

Okaizz haha i will give a brief review for each segment that i saw so pardon me for the remainder of this part of the post.

First up was and overture from the Soka Symphonic Band i think...playing the Soka Wind Ensemble..sounding very much like a Japanese folk song, which i think it really should be?Or at least its the Soka song :) I rate it quite well and quite melodic rythmn...reminds me of Spirited Away actually.

after this was the Prologue where a lot of little kids were dressed up in cute costumes and performing out a short skit, explaining how the rainbow was created in the beginning.

and then WOW and i mean WOW...it was Dance Of Dawn where there were not one,not two,not three but a whole bunch of ballerinas dancing and i can tell you haha they came in all shapes and sizes. There was even one bigger sized ballerina(bad of me i know,i will get my retribution) and mannnnnnn she even managed to do the ballet jump(you know, the one where one leg kicks in front and one kicks behind)...haha i am sure you know right Prissy???All in all the ballerinas really danced very well and their turns were impeccable *claps claps claps*

After the ballet would be Boat Song...where Soka Bintan(yeshhh even Bintan has Soka members) members performed a traditional dance segment accompanied by the tune of "A Sing Sing So" which in the end i found out.....is actually also Boat Song...yes the exact same song sung by Luo Da You..what a nice song :)

Ahhh then came Family Fiesta where a lot of people, young and old, male and female, all came out to the music of S.H.E's Beautiful New World and wearing white gloves, then started dancing.:) quite qin qie when you see some old uncles and old aunties dancing to such a popsy song.

Following up was Funky Jazz where the tone was still fast...i think it was BoA's music!!!!haha and a lot of ladies came out and did some funky dance moves...very good dance moves i might add...and it was the first time i saw an auntie around her 40s wearing funky clothes and dancing to the beat too...just think Coyote Ugly and you get what i see haha.

Moppets United saw little kids again(yessss) dressed up as little chicks to the tune of the chicken dance(i think it was..or was it?)haha and kids being kids they were cutesy..quite amazing also that they managed to choreograph their movements very very well..kudos to them also.

Little Voices was next up and this was Gemmie's number!!!!Well haha half her number at least cos it was her playing the piano in the background..hehe at least it was a recording of her playing the piano lol...great job Gemmie!!!rainbow connection was the song and it was a sweet song :) what more can i say?

Hip! was coming up and hahaha a lot of secondary school students were doing hip hop and breakdances, you know head stands and hand stands...plus even YoYo stunts :) Gotta give it to them for their energy and vibrance.

Hahaha my most fave segment came up next...Retro Jamboree was the name and it was sure my game hahaha.Cos there were nice gelek moves and nice retro music...wahh haha and lots of pretty girls dancing with handsome guys lol lol makes me remember my NPCC Farewell Night~~~

The amazing Flying Fellas were up next and they were doing somersaults and flips in the air...WOW...i can never do that kind of thing..my bones would sure break hahaha.

Movers and Shakers, the follow up segment seemed so familiar. It was Japanese tap dancing....but i saw it before in the movie Zatoichi...hehe mebbe that's where the inspiration came from...quite full of spirit also hehe.

Ahhhh the grand finale came up and it was named Forces of Unity...where dunno how many people formed human pyramids..wah i was worried for quite a few of them cos there wasn't any mat on the floor for them to fall down on lorr.

At the end, alll the people were singing the Soka song and clapping hands..haha one thing though..the lady emcee had too screechy a voice...her sudden shouts and wails made my eardrum almost burst.Great spirit from the Soka people and congrats to them :)

I really do hope racial harmony stays....i mean its not as if we all have to go all out and say hi to every single race and always do the politically right stuff, but just don't go and stir up shit with anyone and i feel that should be alright already. All the bad racist shit being stirred up is always by some kind of extremist group.

Guess i shall end here for now :) will write again..everyone do enjoy ur weekend ahh
