Hitch and Get Smart!!!

Hey yo yo yozzz everyone...how's the PSI level high week been for all of you???*cough cough cough*

Quite bad ain't the weather???reaching up till almost 100 already lehh...sure hope it goes down...cos its causing distress to a lot of people including yours truly.I having just recovered from my sickness last week now suddenly have a slight blocked nose and a bit of phlegm problem also.Sure hope everyone stays healthy despite the bad weather.

Haha today i suddenly feel like quotes from these two shows i have been watching or watched this past week.I guess i shall just start off with Get Smart first.Kinda nostalgic when i start thinking about the show...the premise of the show is this

Set in Washington, D.C., the show features Agent 86 (Maxwell Smart), his boss (The Chief), Smart's partner and later wife (Agent 99) and a host of other agents both good and evil. Perhaps one of the most important elements of the show is the gadgetry created to help Smart in his quest to keep the free world free. On this show, anything including the kitchen sink can be a phone, a tape recorder, a camera or weapon. Looking for an Agent? Check under your seat cushion. Want a weapon? Try your finger-gun. Need to make a phone call? Open up that bologna sandwich. The show was painted in the broadest of strokes and played every moment for its own delightful reality.
In order to give the agents of CONTROL, a series of worthy opponents, KAOS was created. Smart and 99 battled the likes of Mr. Big, The Claw, and Siegfried.

Below are some memorable quotes from the show to push forward my point of it being such a hilarious show

KAOS Agent: Look, I'm a sportsman. I'll let you choose the way you want to die.
Maxwell Smart: All right, how about old age?

Chief: Max, this will undoubtedly be the most dangerous mission you've ever gone on. You probably won't get back alive.
Maxwell Smart: If you're trying to scare me, Chief, you're wasting your time. I don't know the meaning of the word fear.
Chief: You'll parachute from six thousand feet.
Maxwell Smart: I think I just learned it.

Maxwell Smart: I'm sorry I'm late, Chief, but I was stuck in the car for almost twenty minutes.
Chief: I know, 86. The traffic.
Maxwell Smart: No, the seat belt. I can never get that darn thing unbuckled.

Agent 99: Oh Max, you're so brave. You're going to get a medal for this.
Maxwell Smart: There's something more important than medals, 99.
Agent 99: What?
Maxwell Smart: It's after six. I get overtime.

Haha the guy was a clueless guy but alwiz managed to escape any kind of danger..this was the show that i enjoyed a lot when i was young and it was on reruns and even now after watching it again i still enjoy it a lot :) Hope that all you people can manage to watch it also.

Ahh next on is Hitch..i watched it alone on tuesday at plaza singapura...haha when i went inside the cinema,it was full of couples sitting inside...i guess it was a show which couples would enjoy watching together.Quite a nice show i might say..and some good philosophies on love also...will post some quotes from the show below

Albert: You know what it's like getting up every morning? Feeling hopeless, feeling like the love of your life is waking up with the wrong man. But, at the same time hoping that she still finds happiness, even if it's never going to be with you. (i feel this also, sniff sniff)

Albert: I want to jump in front of every cab I see, because maybe then I'll stop thinking about her.

Ohh haha and Kevin James is quite comedic...he was good in King of Queens and in this show Hitch he shows some puppy dog kind of innocence with his comedic timing hahaaha.I recommend this show to all of you who have not watched it yet :)

Ohhhh and its like the bday weekend like tat...cos i have a few friends and even a cuzzie who are having their birthdays soon.Today's my friend Kenny's 25th bday hahah and he so lucky, got his gf to celebrate with him :) have fun man pal!!!!

Prissy's bday is on the 28th...boy too bad its on a Monday..so i guess she would have to celebrate on Sunday???happy birthday to you worrr cuzzie!!!:) kor hopes u can have fun

And Linda's birthday is also coming very soon liaoz on the 30th..Happy birthday to her also worr..hha good luck to all of us for the exams at the same time since our exams very near that period of time.

I was reading about news online and i stumbled upon this article in todayonline...

Newly promoted in the Public Service Division (PSD), Miss Phua is one of the 50 administrative officers who excelled.
.
"I meet people I would not normally meet in the course of work. I hang out with oddballs and the underbelly of society," she said in jest.
.
The 27-year-old, an Overseas Merit Scholar, says her offbeat friends offer her fresh insights into her job as the 4 assistant director for Malaysia at Directorate 1 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Notice the usage of UNDERBELLY OF SOCIETY in her description of the people she meets outside....that means those who are not civil servants are lowly classed people??and its no wonder our country's neighbours feel that we Singaporeans are Kiasu,Kiasee and Hao Lian..this lady is working in the MFA somemore...It makes me shudder to think that such people, self professed elites who would be the pillar of our society...and its to these people our own PM Mr Lee give the future away to also in his recent speech...i just hope he understands that not necessarily does a official for the people need to be an elite, what he or she truly needs is the heart for the people and not for money and standing in society.

Its GOod Friday today..better dun talk about so much Ungood things...hope everyone enjoys their day leh..most prob i be at home reading and stuff i guess....do take good care...signing off for now.

Cheerioz
