Heyhozzz everyone...how did the Saturday turn out for you all?

Haha i am back again early in the morning...well not that early but at least its still morning.

Like i said in my previous post,it was Aylwin's birthday and it was spent singing in the aftermoon from 2pm to 6pm at Partyworld Orchard.I had actually gone to Partyworld alone before haha but i din even noe they had another storey down below...lots more rooms sia. The room we were in was quite huge..haha spacious spacious.There were quite a few of us...Aylwin and his friends Colin,Trish and Vanessa..plus 2 girls which i din manage to catch their names hahaha.Vincent came along with another friend Benjamin around 3+.Proceeded singing and haha Aylwin got a strong voice larrr...too bad still dun have Jay Chow's 一路向北and飘移 at the karaoke or else i sure would pick those songs to sing.Man i even had to sing 北极雪haha and it was as 陈慧琳..i sound so funny.Wahhhhh and i had to sing 让我爱你 alone too *sniff sniff* haha no gf is like that...

But am listening to that song right now lor..haha cos it triggered my interest mahh.

After the ktv session and going outside...guess what????I saw Ryan!!with Huangren....haha so qiao one...can manage to see friends just like that..guess Singapore is really small.

Dinner was at Miramar Hotel's Fern Cafe...hahaha i have bad memory....i dun really remember whether it was named Fern Cafe or not....well it was an international buffet so eat and eat we did :) Not that tip top class but woah it was Aylwin's treat and his gesture was what made the buffet even nicer than it was :) Hahah when they were talking about after dinner activities...suddenly the topic of visiting gay pubs popped up...haha i think its because the ladies present wanted to see gays 'live'.In the end they went to Cosy Bay first and then went off to Tanjong Pagar to see see..i did not know what happened after that because i went back home liaoz haha.One note siaa...Aylwin drives fast!!!!Hahaha this is something i think i will never do cos i will never have the skills to drive fast and yet ensure the safety of my passengers and other motorists on the road.

Quite fast ahh...in a while gotta go down to the stall again :) Shall stop here for now then...do take care yeah people???Have fun horrr

Condolences to PM Abdullah Badawi..may Datin Endon rest in peace.

Heyhozzz everyone...its a Saturday!!!!

Now let's all say a prayer in our own way for Datin Endon,the wife of Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi.I did not know much about her except that she was the silent pillar of strength behind her husband all this while and she carried out her roles of wife,mother and wife of a PM gracefully too.Let us all hope that PM Badawi will be able to walk out of his sorrow and continue a good job in administering a good rule to Malaysia and continue to improve ties with Singapore too.

Whew finally i have finished my assignment but haha i think i left out some things so there will definitely be marks deducted i guess?But that's a small matter....at least i think i should be able to pass :) Ohh and after i had handed in the assignment..i went over to Jurong library and borrowed 3 Asterix books and a book i had been looking for a long time...The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay.Tis not the first time i read the book but it has been quite a while since i last read it so i decided to go and borrow it.It is a good book that is based in South Africa and discusses life,apartheid in Africa and also racism..this is a book i highly recommend to all of you.And if you finish reading it,i think there is a sequel to the book named Tandia...haha dun ask me what Tandia is about cos i have not read it before also.

Today is my friend Aylwin's birthday celebration...whew dunno how things will be...haha heng at least there is one common friend of mine there or else i sure would feel uneasy..haha just like a doggy when it goes to a unfamiliar place.

Read in the papers a few days ago..Jay Chow's new album is coming!!!!!Its named Chopin after Jay's favourite composer and haha its an album i sure would get by hook or by crook :) I am sure all Jay lovers would feel the same way eh?

Cutting hair day

Da Geh Hor....haha roughly means good day to everyone...in Teochew..haha dunno whether i translated it correctly or not.

How's everybody's week??so fast its the weekend already..how are things looking for you people??It seems to be a gloomy day but i think should still be a good day lar :)

:o) Like i said in my title for the bloggg...i am gonna go cut my hair later..i really do not like long hair,haha not that i have long hair...mine is real short...but i guess i am used to it not touching my ears and usually be short short.Its cooler that way..besides i think i sweat a lot and so whew longer hair is a burden to me.

A lot of Bushy jokes i see online...recently one that's passing around through emails and stuff is this one..i think most of you have read it before but what the heck..haha Bushisms are nice.

Wow and finally i finished watching Dae Jang Gum....what a nice show...monday there's the special show..haha where they show the NG scenes and the actors and actresses would be on hand to give their take on the scenes also...fun fun fun :)

Me.Myself and my Sucky Character

Heyhozz everyone....its Sunday!!!issit a fun day???At least its not Monday(a day which the very lazy but lovable Garfield hates) :)

Look at moi's title...whew today gotta do a dissection my own character..which is very bad and not that good.

First on the list is my quick temper...sheesh i really do get angry very easily and that's not very good is it?It always gets me embroiled into disputes with people and riles people up very easily also.This is something i think i need meditation to solve....hmmm chant Om many many times might help??

Second bad thing about moi is my pettiness...i seem to get stuck being thinking about a lot of bad stuff for a long time even though they might be small stuff.Ain't no good at all...this i guess i gotta try and change slowly..maybe i should read more of martial arts novels which feature good hearted heroes?Hahah then i can learn from the heroes to be Xiong Jin Guang Kuo....which means having a broad heart?hahahaha

Third bad thing about me is that I am a man with a moo moo head...haha meaning i have a cow's head which translates to simple language being that i am very obstinate....haha Niu Pi Qi.I don't accept criticism very well and always stick to my beliefs no matter that sometimes or most of the time my belief is utterly wrong.Hahaha and the funny thing is....i dun eat beef :) why am i so bullish??

Well haha i think i still got a lot of bad things about myself...but can't write too much...wait pollute blogspot hahahaha...there are enough natural disasters around liaoz lohh.

Talking about natural disasters...its sad that natural disasters have struck again and this time its earthquake at parts of Pakistan,India and even Afghanistan.May the heavens smile onto the victims and hopefully more survivors can be found too.its really very bad when a lot of poor people are already suffering and here comes a natural disaster to further cripple the infrastructure of their nations.Sure hope the aid is swift..unlike in New Orleans where it seemed to be living hell for the residents.

I borrowed a dvd for the first time from a Play! booth and haha it was just for novelty's sake i guess cos i could actually borrow 3 DVDs for 10 dollars at the rental store downstairs of my house.The show that i borrowed yesterday was Jersey Girl, which i had been wanting to watch ever since it came out last year and i had not been able to watch.I had a good laugh at the well scripted dialogues and the heartwarming scenes too.Haha but those people who know the director Kevin Smith must have been scratching their heads as to WHY Kevin Smith made this movie.For those of you who may not have seen Kevin Smith's movies...he has directed shows such as Dogma and Chasing Amy and hahaha he is actually also Silent Bob of the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back movie plus the above few movies i have mentioned.His movies are well scripted and vulgar...haha and definitely not that heartwarming...but they are very entertaining.For those who have not watched Dogma,Chasing Amy or Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back....i recommend them very much...not that i think they would be available in the rental stores though.I don't know whether i remember correctly or not but i think Dogma was either heavily censored or banned in Singapore because of its sensitive storyline....ohhh and Alanis Morrisette was acting as God...dig that...

Currently i am listening to this song named 替身,which is actually the cantonese version of 零,which is in turn the theme song for the show Mars(战神).Its sung by Ke You Lun(柯有伦),the son of the deceased star, Blackie Ko and he's actually doing quite an ok job singing and acting....good luck in his endeavours...ohh haha and i think he actually studied in Singapore before...at UWC i think.

Random observations

Hiii everyone :)

Haha i am back again so fast...well suddenly had something to write so just had to come in here.

I was at the neighbourhood supermarket buying shampoo when i suddenly realised one thing....it seems that almost ALL the aunties who are above 55 or mebbe above 60 have the same kind of hairstyle ---- Short and curly haha and i did count..at least 9 out of 10 of these aunties had this kind of hairstyle.I guess its something to do with their hair's texture being less good at an older age and so growing longer hair wouldn't be nice also?Whew haha but i even saw one aunty having PURPLE HAIR!!!!Wow haha that is one color i definitely would not dye my hair...hmm i dun think i would dye my hair also,my hair condition is quite bad as it is mahh.

Starhub cable has released the KTV channel and its available on digital tier at 12.60 per month...hmm anybody would sign that channel up??Haha it looks nice to me lar..although if i could choose the songs i wanted it would be much better...mebbe in the future it might happen??

Currently listening to Wang Li Hong's Liu Lei Shou Xin...its a nice ballad and the lyrics are quite nice also.

Belated celebration of 100th post

Heyhozzz everyone!!! :) Its Saturday already lohhh...wahh the week passed by realllll fast indeed...haha last Saturday night i was still at my friend Helen's wedding and now its a new Saturday.

Ahh haha as per my title..i am celebrating my first 100th post anniversary hahha....but its belated by 3 posts already if i count this post also.Happy 100th Post to ma blog hahaha.

So what plans do all of ya have??For me i guess there's nothing much...i have been reading a comic online and the comic being a martial arts comic hath hooked me onto it :) The name of the comic is Da Tang Shuang Long Zhuan(roughly translated is Twin Dragons of Tang) and its adapted from the novel of the same name by Huang Yi.Quite a nice read indeed...because i enjoy comics drawn by Huang Yu Lang or those of his company.Long Hu Men was one which i enjoyed utterly when i was young...i am still looking forward for the movie to be filmed...i think it has been in production or preparation for almost a decade?Wang Xiao Long,Shi Hei Long and Wang Xiao Hu..sure hope to see these 3 characters on the big screen.The last i heard was actually Nic Tse being in the role of Wang Xiao Hu,who is the lead character.

Woahh..i suddenly have a mind block right now...can't think of anything to write..shall write again soon :) Seeyaz all.

Ola Ola everyone.....whew today's a very cold day indeed again ahhh.

Its like every morning there would be a shower to cleanse the land like that..haha too bad i wouldn't be able to be in bed longer to enjoy the cooling wind.I am sure it also made it difficult for a lot of you people to drag yourselves out of your beds eh??

Like in my title...gotta say a prayer for the Bali bomb blast victims...its so deja vu....sighh cos its already happened before.Sure hope the deceased have gone to a better place by now.Its terrible how those bombers could bear to bomb so many innocent people..even if they were trying to be matyrs.But in doing this,they have left behind their responsibility to their families and left them behind to die.All of the matter is just so shrouded in secrecy...although the papers point to JI being a possible mastermind of the whole matter,some other sources point to Indo opposition parties trying to sully President Yudhoyono's efforts to properly lead the nation.No matter what kind of theory it is....it just stinks badly....i mean...killing your own countrymen to attain your goal?That is a shitty thing to do no matter what...i believe in karma and no matter whoever does it will never ever go to heaven.Just hope this teaches all other possible terrorists that no matter what they do....violence only begets more violence....the violence definitely has to stop.

Sorry if i make anybody's day bad after reading my post..but whew this is the only way i can release the torrent of feelings i have inside my mind.

Well shouldn't be so solemn for the whole post eh?:) hmm lemme see...oh yahhh last week i went for a total of 2 weddings.quite nice lar haha one was at Sheraton Towers and it was my cousin Grace's wedding.My first time at Sheraton Towers and it looked quite grand...the menu was quite ok too haha as with all weddings.There was a baby there that was so cute hahaha he didn't flinch at all when we took turns to carry him.That's him below.




Haha and my dad was so happy at seeing the baby that he offered to help feed the baby :)

So that was for Friday...come Saturday and it was my pri sch mate Helen's wedding,which was held at Paramount Hotel...saw Peisi and Xiaoyan cos we sat at the same table mahh.wahhhh a decade never see Peisi already and saw a pic of her son Amos haha cutezzz.The dinner was also nice and the best dish was the..........cream puffs hahahaha dessert is the best.

I suddenly listened to Xiang Sheng(Crosstalk) again a few days back and it sure brings me back to my childhood...because i had always looked forward to Ma Ji and Zhao Yan's crosstalk show on Channel 8 last time.Good wit and enunciation from the dudes..haha i alwiz aspire to talk as fast and as glib as they do but nawww i don't think i can do that..i most likely would get the jitters.

Ohh i saw on tv last week that you can get a DIY bear bear worrr...hha well at least in Taiwan i think cos the news was Taiwan news..You can first choose the body of the bear bear..then u pick the message that the bear bear will say....yahhhh you can even record your own voice into a voice recorder and it will be what the bear bear will say...you can even dress the bear bear up in the kind of clothes you want as the clothes have been custom made before hand :) haha costs quite a far bit i guess...but judging from the parents and kids with happy faces i think the price must have been worth it.

I like the show Quan Min Da Men Guo on CTI(Zhong Tian Cable)..how i wish Singapore could have something like that..although yeahh it does have a show roughly similar to it cos i think there is a show which has Mark Lee and Bryan Wong plus a few other artistes and they impersonate certain famous people.But then again..mebbe the makeup is not good enough...it could be better i feel and besides....Singapore doesn't have enough freedom of expression for them to impersonate and parody certain people without repercussions.Can only wait for the day when everyone in Singapore can really laugh together with each other...and not over Taugeh..
