:) cold weather nice....but tsunamis not nice :(

Hallloz everyone :) :) haha was everyone satisfied with my previous posting????And did everyone have a nice Christmas celebration??

To start things off....our beloved Thames lecturer Mr Julian Cheong has finally tied the knot to Ms Sharon!!!!!!!!!Haha the ROM ceremony was on last Wednesday and he had some kind of bash at The Public House at Hotel Rendezvous.Whew when i reached Hotel Rendezvous,i had alwiz tot that The Public House was some kinda ballroom or function room...so i went up and down the hotel to look look haha...in the end stupid me had passed by The Public House(its a pub) the moment i got off the bus!!!So i walked around for nothing hahaha.When i reached the pub i saw a few pple who seemed to be Julian's students from the full time course and i didn;t know them one so i just ordered an orange juice and sat outside.Julian was gonna be half an hr late and so i just waited outside lor.Haha only when he arrived liaoz den i went into the pub with him.The other guys and gals turned out to be quite fun hahah..managed to talk with Uz and a few other guys.There was a lady(middle aged caucasian)who was wearing a tiara and someone uttered Princess Diaries ah..haha i added no no is Princess Diaries part 10..haha cos so old liaoz lol. YC and Liz also arrived shortly after that hahahaha..but Liz left at around 11pm cos she had a friend who was gonna have a bachelorette party lol.I myself left at around 11.55 cos i tot would have express 518 to take..haha in the end 11.55 is on Fridays!!!!the last bus for other days was 11pm...so i had to take a cab back with Uz cos the other buses alll PACKED and din wanna stop...Congrats to Julian again sia :)

Xmas eve i got a prezzie which was very nice...a sling bag from ProjectBLOODbros...thanks a lot ah ger(hehe if u do read this bloggie)!!!!!Ohhh haha i also did a silly thing.I have a secondary schmate named Kenny who is a very good friend of mine and i visited him during the afternoon of Xmas eve and i bought xmas card for him lol....before pressing his doorbell i slipped the card onto the door there and when he opened the door i said,"hey dude,there's a card for u." haha next moment he was stunned for a while but then when he see the card he said,"must be you who put it there right?" hahhaa stupid me lar.

Amazingly...the remainder of Xmas even and even Xmas nothing much happened.Xmas i just spent it at home relaxing..but i did manage to watch a few episodes of Jiang Shi Dao Zhang 2 lor.Now Boxing Day was a different proposition...as usual morning was spent at the stall and noon at home,but night time was a wedding dinner at 4 seasons Hotel..hehe so good two wedding meals at 2 high starred hotels consecutive Sundays.But then the meal at 4 seasons seemed kinda normal for its price sia...even the food at Fullerton Hotel seemed more upmarket or rather quite worth its price.Haha in the end had to drive my dad back in his car cos he was quite happy for his friend and so he and his friends were drinking Cordon Bleu...luckily the traffic back home wasn;t very congested lol :)

Fast forward to today....i wanted to eat Bak Kut Teh at Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh at Rangoon Roac one..but its closed on Mondays.Now for a short intro of Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh...this is one bak kut teh shop that i patronised since i was a kid..and which my dad patronised since he was a kid too.It used to be around the jalan besar area but now is currently at Rangoon Road..owned by Teochews it has that distinct spicy and yet nice taste to it...kinda pricy though but haha i alwiz ask for more soup(the soup on its own is free,can ask for more one i think) and in the end my tummy is satisfied. :) hehe enough of advertising for this shop which i wun get any money from.In the end lunch was spent at another place where i have not gone to for a long time and if i still dun go it wun be around liaoz...and that place is Ponderosa at Tampines Mall..they are gonna close on January 2nd liaoz..dunno whether the other 2 branches will close too or not.I had the lunch buffet and haha i just scooped the potato wedges,coleslaw and the pasta many times.And guess what???!!!!haha Stephanie Sun was actually at the next table onli!!!!haha cos i was loooking at this slim slim gal and i was thinking wahhh what a stephanie sun look a like...but then as i looked closer...hehe got 'mor peng' one leh...DEFINITELY is her ahhh..she looks a bit differently in person that is what i can say lorr.

After the meal was the movie Kungfu Hustle..i finally got to watch it liaozzz.Haha as i am a fan of Stephen Chow's so i wun mind whatever reviews are of it and i will still go and watch it.It was quite a nice show lor :) and certain scenes i weeped...i shan't say which scene just in case got pple haben watch :) hehe after the show goes off from the cinemas then i say.

I got caught in the rain as the rain came down sudddenly...the wind was also very strong...very good weather to stay at home....oh yahh..and as i was walking home...i decided to buy a copy of Shin Min Daily to read and lo and behold...Jet Li was in the headlines becos he was on hols in maldives and he is now MISSING!!!!alll becos of the tsunami...hope he and many others who are missing will be alright.Let us all say a prayer for all the victims in our own way....

Okaizz then..whew the end of the year is gonna come upon us..will write again soon..hope i didn't bore all of ya.Take carezz everyone :)

Birthday and wedding~~~~

Harroezzz everyone!!!!Haha missed me or not???I din have much to write about..until now that is..and so here i am with a new posting :)

Last weekend was quite a busy one for me...as Saturday was my 'meimei's bday and Sunday was my cousin Daniel's wedding.

Firstly to start off with is Saturday...i woke up as usual to help my dad and haha after the working, i went over Tampines Mall to meet Ryan and Kris..they were eating Ponderosa first and so i decided to go and walk walk around the place.Talking about Ponderosa...it seems that they are gonna close down worr...cos the Tampines Mall outlet is gonna close on January 2nd...guess i shld be gonna go there and eat one of these days liaoooo.Okaiii and like i was saying,i decided to go and walk walk first so i went up and look look at the shops first,den went over the arcade to play games.Played NBA and haha the sunlight was glaring at me so i din manage to complete the games.After that still got some time i guess cos Ryan and Kris were eating the buffet and should take some time,i decided to just sit down on the bench outside of the cinema and snooze hahaha,such a peeg hor me???

Haha after the nice on and off snooze,i was told to go down to the taxi stand and all of us took a taxi to Meridien at Changi Village..haha go kai fang...farnieee right hahahaa.When we reached there,the book in took quite a long time because some things seemed to cock up..but luckily in the end it was settled and we went up to the room...was on the third storey one.too bad the view wasn't of the front and instead was facing the dark and eerie forest.Upon getting into the room...haha i decided to take a pic and boy the effect is shown below....



Haha does it look like a scene from Shutter????Ghostly picture with a head in the toilet hahahaa.Haha imagine leh the bathtub is there near the window,but i guess its also convenient so that the person who is bathing can also watch the tee vee.
After that Ryan and I went off to swim at the swimming pool...but imagine our dismay when loads and loads of people were at the swimming pool...i think should be some kind of church or company function.They were alll inside the swimming pool at once,the swimming pool being quite small already of cos naturally had no space for the 2 of us.We had to wait a while before going into the pool to dip dip.Below is one pic we took after we went in.

Well after a while,the wind suddenly came on very very strongly..whew because the swimming pool was on the highest storey,the wind was utterly cold...imagine Ryan and I were shivering like mad when we came out of the water...Brrrr the plants at the side were being blown like it was during a storm like that...luckily there were towels ready for us or else i dunno what will happen liaozz.

Whew after going back to the hotel room,i immediately went to have a shower in the nice nice bath tub...its been ages since i enjoyed myself with a dip in a bathtub liaoz..especially since it was warm warm water to contrast with the cold cold temperature a while ago.How i wish i had a bath tub at home lol...den i can dip in milk even lol.

Dinner afterwards was at Changi Village Hawker Centre...as usual there were loads of people sia...i ate Penang Char Kway Teow first while BBQ Stingray and Sambal Kangkong were ordered also...wow had to wait around 50 mins for the BBQ stuff but its understandable i guess cos there were lotsa people mah.Whew such a filling dinner that my tummy looked like quite a few months old preggy.

After the dinner,we went over to the hotel's lounge bar to relax...below's the pic Kris meimei took for me when i was sitting down...haha i look farnie hor??



I had a mocktail and it tasted quite nice cos it contained orange juice mah..so can't go too wrong..i dun like the alcohol one haha :) Haha well we just relaxed and talked while sitting down at the lounge lorr.Only bad thing was that due to the function still going on,there were loads of kids running around and shouting while playing catching i guess.

Ohh haha and below is my meimei Kris,who managed to have an enjoyable time swimming with Ryan on Sunday morning...look at the view at the back..quite nice hor??



That would conclude my day for birthday liaoz :) Happy Birthday to ya again Kris meimei!!!!

Haha following up next would be the wedding day...i woke up at 5+am to prepare...ohh and i told all of you people that i would be the xiao jiu zi hor???Yeapzz woke up and wore my clothes,including my suit..haha i look so farnie in it...too bad i dun have any pictures of myself at the moment..guess i would have to post any such pics in the future when they become available.My family and I went over to my cousin's home in Marine Terrace first...so juz wait and wait until 8+am when the groom was gonna come and i went down to open the car door...haha i had to carry two mandarin oranges on a platter..so traditional horrr???I waited at the wrong road haha just like me to do such a thing,luckily the car was just behind me and so i quickly rushed over and opened the door...the exchange of ang pao and mandarin oranges were complete :) Cuzzie Daniel and Cuzzie in law Hsueh Lian looked magnificent :) hehe Hsueh Lian jie even wore a tiara worrr so nice right??

Ohh haha and all this while my cousin Noah(who is Daniel's elder brother) had to wait at a few storeys higher than their home because if a younger person was to get married it would be bad luck for the elder brother to be in the same rooom.When i got up first...all the relatives who were at the home had to hide inside one room,then only when Daniel kor came up then can come out.Thus began the tea ceremony,quite a lot of pple to be offered tea to,my dad had his first ever tea being offered to him :) After all the ceremony and photo taking,we all rushed off to the Fullerton Hotel.
Whew i have never stepped into the Fullerton hotel before and so it was looking so majestic to me.The ballroom where the wedding was to be held was very big also lorrrrr.Imagine leh that day got 4 weddings to be held...2 in the ballroom and 2 at the Straits Room at 4th floor.There was some photo taking among the cuzzies and aunts because the actual thingy haven't start yet mah...whew my cuzzies started to play pieces on the piano that was at the reception area of the ballroom.How i admire their ability to play the piano so well :) haha i even asked my cuzzie Sharon to play An Jing for me to sing along to lol...oh and Sharon commented that i looked like the godfather in my blazer..man haha i am a ming xing lian.

At 10+am the wedding promptly started and the people started to trickle in...i was seated with Sharon,her brother Matthew and his fiancee,with 6 empty seats gonna be given to my cuzzie Priscilla and her 5 schoolmates.

The wedding started with church vows being exchanged and the pastor giving a speech..whew all of us had to stand up for quite a while..but i guess its worth it since we were respecting Daniel kor :) after the wedding vows,my cuzzie Priscilla came out with her schoolmates to perform!!!Haha it was a nicely put together dance medley which kinda choreographed how Daniel kor and Hsueh Lian jie met and how their proposal was like.After that then the lunch started...boy we were all starving by now...the atmosphere was good because Daniel kor is a musician and imagine leh,his friends were performing as a jazz band while we were all eating :) Good music to listen to while eating good food..how good can that get?:)Of cos it did because Daniel kor sang a song which he composed and it was a tribute to Hsueh Lian jie :) During the bouqet tossing...alll the single gals..well almost all the single gals came out and haha guess what...my cuzzie Maria was the one to receive it...whew meaning they all gonna marry in a row,with daniel kor married..noah kor going to be and her supposedly next ;)

The wedding ended at around 3+pm but we all still didn't go back home yet..instead most of us stayed around and took pics...we all even went up to Daniel kor's hotel room.Whew it was a sight for sore eyes because the suite was double storeyed!!!!Hahaha such comfortable surroundings and it faced the Esplanade,even was able to go out where there was a balcony.There was a cute baby boi boi bouncing on Daniel kor's bed as supposedly traditionally it means that Daniel kor might have kids soon...haha i sure hope that is soon cos i look fwd to having a niece or nephew.After the tiring afternoon,one would expect us to back home right???Noooooo ahhahaha in the end some of us shifted to Kbox Marine Parade...imagine leh..even included my grandma haha.We sang there till sometime abt 9.30pm...den went to a zhi char stall that my dad's friend owned.that was the final event of the day haha and i had to drive my family home cos my dad had too much alcohol content in him liaozz lohh.

It all ended quite well :) and even better cos the next time din have to open stall haha.Whew such a long post liaoz..guess i shld stop here first....seeyaz all...will write again soon :)

Counting down~~~Tick tock tick tock

Heyhozzz everyone out there :) How's the day for everyone???Peering out the windows i can see dark clouds looming..most likely might rain hahahaha.For me its okie cos most likely i should be staying at home...but for most pples' sake i shld juz hope that it remains status quo...at least its cooling and no rainfall mahh.

HMm nothing much happened this past week...did go Kbox on monday..haha and finally they have Nicholas Teo's songs and OCEAN OU's!!!!!It was a joy singing Ji Mo Bian Jie...haha my new favourite song together with Hurt...2 good songs with nice lyrics.Well there was also Waiting For You by Anson Hu,where the MTV was quite sad sad,it starred 2 up and coming artistes named He Jun Xiang and Lin Yi Chen.

Haha got wonder why my title for the bloggie today is Counting down????cos i am really counting down lorrr....my cuzzie's wedding is on Sunday and I am the Xiao Jiu Zi!!!haha long time never become Xiao Jiu Zi liaoz...dunno how the feeling is like...somemore i be wearing a blazer...gonna be the first time i wear one.

Today Xian Dan is gonna fly to UK...haha if you see this before u fly.....BON VOYAGE HORRR XIANZZZZ!!!Otherwise its see you when you come backiezz liaoz :)

My lunchie for the day was...guess guess guess....haha 2 Ramly burgers from the pasar malam downstairs.Boy it tasted nice especially with the egg,but the ones from malaysia tasted nicer..somemore got chilli powder one....whew so nice.Actually i also saw the Super Big Chicken Chop one..haha that one next time then try lor..the pasar malam wun end so soon mah :)

Haha actually i also counting down to Kungfu Hustle..which will be shown next week mah :) Hope that i can manage to go and watch it lorrr..wish me luck pple :)

Exams are over~~~~

Heyhozz everyone :) :) :) haha the title for this post is the direct opposite of the previous post lol :) Finally my exams are over and can smilezz more liaozzz.

Yesterday the 8th was the last paper,Tv Production it was...haha managed to finish well ahead of time and was lucky the info in my head wasn't taken away at all.Went to PS to watch Without a Paddle with Linda and Margaret and boy the show was really hilarious..proves that a show doesn't need to have big big stars to work.Well haha there were some stars..Matthew Lillard frm Scooby Doo and Seth Green from Austin Powers were in it :)

These few days didn't manage to read up much...slacking too much in the information department...sure must start to read up more in terms of papers and stuff online...the head feels so empty without any fresh information...makes me sound like an alien like that isn't it???

Well today i went to Klunch at Hougang Plaza with my friend Kenny..whew it has been a few yrs since i last went to KTV with him...it used to be a common affair at Loyang or Bedok before he started university...how time flies though cos he is already back in sg and graduated liaozzz.Managed to find the song Ji Mo Bian Jie by Nicolas Teo but its amazing cos his name wasn't in the singers list at all..onli managed to find the song thru pinyin mode.

Got home now and decided to write up on my blog since it has been somewhat cobwebby..haha has got "net spiders" alll over it liaozz.Stop herezz for now haha stil dun have enough inspiration to write morezz.Have fun everyone!!!!

Exams are here~~~

Hey hey heyzz everyone...whew finally its december and my exams are here....

Well 2 papers have gone past already to be exact and its the 2 that i feel more averse to...haha specifically econs onli i guess.I can't seem to remember the terms and stuff related to econs that well.Can pass i will be very happy liaoz.

last Friday was my IT paper and i went to watch Alexander at night with my friends.haha first time i watched a movie with my friend Kenny and his gf...the show was kinda gayish..haha but of cos since Alexander was a gay????and during those times,showing of affection among guys was quite a common thing..but i think its due to Oliver Stone's depiction that hahahha the movie was so Basic Instinct like :) Does anyone remember Basic Instinct starring Sharon Stone???The famous crossed legged scene hahaha.

didn't do much this week due to the exams..but boy this week after the exams there will be a lot of activities coming up liaoz..hope can tahan everything man.Hhaa wish me luck for the coming two papers...juz stop here for now...got inspiration den i write more :)
