December - Month of weddings~~

Heyhoz everyone!

Joshy is back with an update again :) Yeapz tis the season to be jolly~~~ weddings galore this month, it is joy upon joy for a lot of people.

Kickstarted my first wedding of the month by going to my BMT friend Mike's wedding at Mariott Hotel on Sunday. I still can't believe its been 7 years since our BMT already , time really flies. Below is the pic i took with the good looking couple :)



After that i went to sing at Partyworld Liang Court to while some time before Grandma's birthday dinner at Peach Garden. Managed to sing Jay Chou's Gei Wo Yi Shou Ge De Shi Jian a few times.

The dinner at Peach Garden was quite ok , the peking duck was good albeit very small portion. But in the end we had extra servings of food because two empty seats at my table.

And look what came for NSPAM while i was writing this blog, look at the following pics.







A log cake from ATS' big boss :) haha and the maam at the mailroom thought the young lady who sent the cake over was my girlfriend! hahahahaha very funny right?

Another pic i took on Friday was of the fried chicken from Jolly V that i finally got to eat :) and it was the last plate of anything for the day! they have last order at 8.25pm.



Succulent fried chicken hmmmmmm yum yum.

I had been following this anime/dorama called Nodame Cantabile and it brought nice sensation to me because the music inside was really captivating. It helped also that the characters were amusing :) Because of one character inside, i decided to buy a phone strap of it.



In the end the phone strap is bigger than my phone! But i still like the Nodame Mongoose, so i will put it at my office table :)

BTK!

Heyhoz everyone,

After the 'death' posts i decided there should be a lighter tone in this post. Lookie at the title! BTK and it stands for Boon Tong Kee. Its like that cos i went to have lunch with my mates at NSPAM at the BTK branch at Macpherson yesterday.

Turned out to be quite a nice meal , complete with soup and meat :) wish the chicken was more though. Didn't take any pictures of the food! haha but i took a picture of a pen i took from there, who would have though BTK has complimentary pens?



And i was looking around for a picture i saw on a forum a few months back. It was the scene of a Race Queen contest held at Kallang. Do give your views on the contestant in the pic and those in the background. Race Queens? or Drag Queen?



So after viewing the picture, what do you guys think? I really applaud her courage though lar, i always recommend people to have confidence in themselves and do the stuff they want to do, at least they can proudly say i tried, did you?

I came across this cute mascot when i was searching for my friend's hometown of Saitama, its so cute!



Its name is Kobaton, cute or not? Should we have mascots for our GRCs?

I am repeating this song today by Jay Chou , Shuo Hao De Xing Fu Ne, i like the song :) I guess every one of his albums there will be one that is dear to me.

Condolences to all victims' families in the Mumbai disaster

Heyhoz everyone!

Previous entry was dealing with death of an entertainer, now this entry also dealing with death, on a much larger scale.

I would like to say my condolences to the victims' families of the Mumbai terrorist attack. This was really a surprise to me when i read the news a few days ago about terrorists attacking different spots at Mumbai. So much carnage in a bustling metropolitan city, it really makes me sad that the terrorists would do such a thing. Not that this is a new thing as a lot of terrorist activities have been carried out especially during the last decade or so.

I guess now they should be trying to find out who is the mastermind behind this horrendous event. The people who did this were mere 20+ year olds, many of whom were younger than me. How ever did they manage to plan all of this and be equipped with so much weapons?

Here's an appropriate song i thought of when this happened, i hope we can be like this song.



Where is the love by Black Eyed Peas. I hope that peace prevails instead of all this killin... rest in peace victims.

RIP Bernie Mac

Heyhoz everyone!

Sombre title for today, only today have i realised that Mr Bernie Mac, the comedian who has acted in a lot of good shows had already passed away on August 9th. That means Madagascar 2 would be one of the last shows that he starred in. I sure as hell will be going to watch that movie man, would be the last time i hear his voice in a new movie :( , that plus Soul Men which also is starring him. It also means that if there was another Ocean's sequel, there wouldn't be his character in it.

Let us say a prayer for him in our own way, hope he is having fun wherever he is at.

Tabby Cat Station Master

Has anyone been watching the new season of Family Guy? My friend says its quite good and funny, maybe i will go watch it later haha. And what about MamaMia! ? Has anybody gone to watch it? I would like to watch it also... maybe will get the dvd or see if there are other sources.

Hornbills!

Heyhoz everyone!

Its meeeeeee back again :) I've started school at SIM already and am doing group project already. Time sure flies and i am now been at NSPAM for one year plus already. Gonna be anniversary of go-live date in two months time.

I've been meaning to post this pic but never got down to it, here's a picture of two hornbills i saw at Changi Village. Hornbills! I mean i've only seen these birds at jurong bird park(of which i have not been to ever since primary school!) Its quite cool to see exotic birds out in the open :) Too bad my camera for handphone sucks :(



How has everyone been? Economy is really very bad right now, and job market is so sluggish. I do wish all my friends who are looking for a job now all the best in their job hunt!

Just ate a J.Co donut and am raring for more!

Omnia for me

Hi everyone,

I haven't blogged in a long while eh? Here i am back again! Haha this post will be specially for entering into the Samsung Omnia contest but i definitely won't just blog about it because i'm supposed to be free to blog about anything! :)

Ever since my Nokia N80 got lost last year, i have felt that there has been a bit of a void because that phone enabled to be more connected even while on the go and without having to carry a big laptop. I could snap pictures anywhere and the pictures would be clear(it has flash while my current phone does not at all).

So many things have happened since my last entry and lo and behold, its the closing ceremony of the Olympics today! Time really flies by and it is actually also my one year in Accenture already. I am actually also moving office at the same time while blogging haha , so much things indeed!

I guess this entry should open the floodgates for me haha, will blog more next time then. :) Peace be to all!
