Saturday Saturday Saturday...Triple S hahaha

Hey yazz pple...how's the weekend??Haha surprised to see me post again so fast??

Well i decided to post again cos its kinda a boring Saturday mahh..haha nothing much to do and the weather so gloomy like that one..whew...so here i am typing my blog entry. And never mind the title of the blog cos i juz din noe what to name the title for today :)

Hmm just got digital cable a few days ago and they are letting us have the preview for all the channels haha..if i remember correctly Noormie had the same experience also..whew it sure is nice surfing thru all the channels..so many channels to watch worrrr.I think should be anytime now that the channels would revert back to those that we subscribe to.

Did anyone try out the quiz in the previous entry of mine??I still can't believe my color of death is so morbid and macabre...hehe M&M...or mebbe i do have that kind of seedy personality??I do tend to think of more happy things, cos its quite sucky to feel down and sad.Crying though is something nice,i like to cry when i see sad shows or certain sad scenes of a show.Last night i was watching 人间有情(also known as The Umbrella Story) and there were some scenes that made me cry, although i have watched this show almost 5 to 6 times already.I do recommend this show to people who have not watched it before. Its in the mould of 南海十三郎(The Mad Phoenix) where there is drama, history and comedy all rolled into one.An apt description of the above two shows would be Forrest Gump haha in Asia..cept that the protagonists are not mentally challenged..and indeed the Mad Phoenix was a talent of his trade, chinese opera composition. The two chinese shows are acted superbly by a lot of HK stage artistes.

Hmm i seem to come across a lot of interesting topics on the forum i frequent. One such topic that caught my eye was this "Is it compulsory to offer pregnant ladies a seat?" This topic was first being discussed in the forum page of the Straits Times..where this preggie lady wrote in that she wasn't offered a seat on the bus and her hubby had to step forward and ask for a seat. Then another lady wrote in admonishing her saying that when SHE was pregnant she did not expect other people to give up a seat for her at all, and it was only courtesy and not law to give up the seat. So what do you all think?Well i think most of us would give up our seats to the pregnant and the elderly eh?Its some kind of common courtesy only i guess??Cos who would want the pregnant and the elderly to get into any accident if the bus or MRT train suddenly jerks(haha ok mebbe not that jialat in the case of the MRT) right?haha but does anyone have the reaction of people looking at you weirdly if you give up your seat to someone??I think that happened to me before when i offered my seat to an old uncle, haha he looked quite gruff and other people around me were looking at me with weird stares.

Hahah i just went for a interview at the Esplanade yesterday for the position of a stage casual...hmmm 70+ people went for the interview altogether, and i was for the 4.30pm time slot...haha in the end i went in for the interview at 5.30pm like that. There was only one ger interviewing for the job and she sat next to her guy friend whom she came along with haha. The interview was by Theresa the HR manager and Peter the staging manager.Hmm i was at a loss for words as i din speak much lol....and i even said that staging might be thrilling..haha at the sound of the word,Peter laughed out loud...hmm haha cos i said something silly?Haha wish me luck that i get good news next week.

:) Guess i will stop here for now..will continue my posting again and u all will know it wun be too long :)

Cheerioz
