WTF!!!!!!Wax On....wax off......Mr Miyagi Says.....RIP Mr Miyagi....
Heyhozz again people!!!!WTF!!!!I know i usually wouldn't say vulgar things like this on my blog but i was just too shocked!!!!!I was surfing thru the forum i frequent when i suddenly see this post with the title "Pat Morita Bites The Dust" i immediately clicked on it..and sighh it led me to this link.
Pat 'Mr Miyagi' Morita link from yahoo news
'Mr Miyagi' passed away of natural causes at the age of 73 on 24th November....
I really liked him in the Karate Kid series..he was so believeable as a karate sensei...and besides Yoda he was the only other dude from the movies that i could remember clearly some classic lines.
Daniel: Why didn't you tell me?
Miyagi: Tell what?
Daniel: That you knew karate.
Miyagi: You not ask.
Daniel: Well, where'd you learn it?
Miyagi: Father.
Daniel: But I thought he was a fisherman.
Miyagi: In Okinawa, all Miyagi know two things: fish and karate.
[Miyagi karate-chops the tops off three beer bottles]
Daniel: How did you do that? How did you do that?
Miyagi: Don't know. First time.
Daniel: Wouldn't a fly swatter be easier?
Miyagi: Man who catch fly with chopstick accomplish anything.
Daniel: Ever catch one?
Miyagi: Not yet.
[Walking through the Okinawa airport, Daniel and Miyagi find a poster advertising Sato's karate school. The poster shows Sato breaking a log with his bare hands]
Daniel: You think you could break a log like that?
Miyagi: Don't know. Never been attacked by a tree.
Its exchanges like these in the Karate Kid series that really endeared me to 'Mr Miyagi'..he was wise and yet he was funny..he really made watching Karate Kid cool and entertaining.I do wish him well and that he rests in peace...i will always remember his classic lines and pass them on to the future generation :) Because its important to let future generations know that there existed a character such as 'Mr Miyagi' and the guy who portrayed him did a whole bunch of good job.
Btw gotta attribute..the above quotes were taken from the IMDB website so if you want to see more of such quotes please do go to the IMDB website
Whew...i did not expect to write about 2 people's obituaries within such a short space of time.
Upon seeing the news about 'Mr Miyagi' 's death...i decided to listen to the ending theme for Karate Kid 2 Glory of Love by Peter Cetera
Tonight it's very clear
And we're both standing here
There's so many things I want to say
I will always love you
I will never leave you alone
Sometimes I just forget
Say things I might regret
It breaks my heart to see you crying
I don't want to lose you
I could never make it alone
Chorus
I am a man who would fight for your honor
I'll be the hero you're dreaming of
We'll live forever knowing together
That we did it all for the glory of love
You keep me standing tall
You help me through it all
I'm always strong when you're beside me
I have always needed you
I could never make it alone
Just like a knight in shining armor
From a long time ago
Just in time I will save the day
Take you to my castle far away
May 'Mr Miyagi' rest in peace....i sure will miss him a lot...
