Dribble like the wind~~~

Heyhoz everyone...the title is dedicated to a soccer legend...George Best (22 May 1946 - 25 November 2005) hath passed away due to lung infection and organ failure.

Why such a title you might ask??The former Northern Irish international and Manchester United player was one of the greatest if not the greatest soccer player the world has ever known...and he was very well known for his sublime skills with the soccer ball.I had the luck to see on tv one example why he was praised by Pele himself to be the greastest soccer player in the world.He took the ball from behind the midfield line and dribbled all the way to the opposition's goal..but not before leaving behind 5 players that he dribbled past!!!That was only one of the many moments that he was well known for..although he could have achieved much more if he had not taken to drink.

He was also well known for his quotes as in the following which i managed to get from Wikipedia

I am glad that he is now finally free of his alcohol problems and the pain that he has been suffering..i sure hope he will rest in peace.He will definitely be remembered by people all over the world for the entertainment that he gave to them.Let us all say a prayer for him and also for his surviving family members.

Am listening to this song while i am writing this entry...quite apt for me to listen a british singer's song while i am writing about a british footballer.This is So Long Jimmy by James Blunt and its quite a good song indeed.

So how would everybody's Saturday be like??I dunno what i would be doing but most likely for the time being i would be at home reading my books and stuff..oh yesh and i gotta start reading up on the APA stylebook...cos gotta do an assignment soon whew..
